Get what you pay for.
Well can't argue for the price. As other reviewers said, none of them work. pay for them selves though mounted in walking sticks.I guess no customer will find their way back, but look good. Should Avoid if your serious really.

1 was great, not sure about that the other 23pcs.
The compass is great, it works as described - except the fact I only got one, not the 'wholesale lot 24pcs' as advertised. Not a problem as I only wanted one, but item needs headlining appropriately. Delivery did take a while.

Which way ?
I've ordered sets of these before as novel little prizes for children, and found some with dodgy pivots or reversed polarity, only to be expected in such cheap little things . This batch had just 4 which would not consistently point north (ish), not bad !These are novelties though, not serious navigation tools, so I'm not bothered. A good buy for the Christmas cracker, not for route finding in the great outdoors.I'm editing this review because I've seen comments from people who are evidently ishort of understanding on both magnetism and the metric system.First, these compasses are a precise 20mm in diameter, that's 2cm side to side. The size is given in the item name, that is absolutely visible and accurate.Second, magnetic compasses have magnetized needles which are free to pivot around their balance point and align with the magnetic field of the earth. Each magnetic compass therefore not only interacts with the planet's magnetic field, but also will be affected by other magnets (and ferrous objects) close by. So, if you place all 2 dozen of these in a neat little formation on the table, they will all interact with each other's magnetc fields and point in directions dictated by those rather than to North. The same would happen even with 24 of these Silva Explorer 203 - Compass or these Suunto A-30 L CM Explorer Compass either of which which would be a decent reliable nevigational tool, and priced accordingly.Silva and Suunto are respected specialist makers of quality compasses, if you pay less than £15 for ONE compass it is a toy, not a tool to trust your life to.Third, there can never be a decently accurate measurement of angle projected out from such a small needle, simple geometry means the further the projected line, the greater the error. That's why those respected compass makers do not market their sub £15 small keyring/wriststrap devices as serious navigation tools, but adequate for approximate city use or as backups to proper tools.I emphasise these are novelties, using them for critical applications would be the navigational equivalent of using string to abseil down a cliff.
