This is too heavy duty for connecting an electric hob or oven. I got it to work but I would advise going for the next size below. The oven came with a 2.5mm cable.

It is what it is. Just what I needed, works fine. I would warn you that it is very fat and I had to bend the panel on the back of the cooker to allow entry.

A solid and very heavy duty bit of cable and it was just long enough to wire up my cooker. No complaints. And it was delivered fast. I was able to wire up my new cooker on my own, after carefully turning off my electric, and comparing with the online cable guides and markings on my wall socket and cooker. PS: If you don’t know how to read wires or a socket layout, hire an expert. I have a brain and could do it myself. Always be safe.

Great cable gor hob and reasonably priced

Cable itself is great, exactly what you need to connect your freestanding cooker. However I order and paid for 2m of cable yet received 1.8m instead. It is still long enough for me to use but it's 10% short.
