For the first time ever on DVD, Close My Eyes is a film by prolific director Stephen Poliakoff, featuring the exceptional talents of Alan Rickman (Harry Potter And The Prisoner Of Azkaban) and Clive Owen (Gosford Park, King Arthur). Children of a broken marriage, grown up apart and hardly knowing each other - Richard (Clive Owen) is a slick, successful and promiscuous young architect whilst Natalie (Saskia Reeves) is lost, low on self esteem and lonely. After a long absence their reunion ends with a kiss. But not the sort for brothers and sisters. As time moves on the roles are reversed as Natalie marries Sinclair (Alan Rickman), an incredibly wealthy and eccentric man who languishes in the home countries. Whilst Richard on the other hand ditches the life of the London high flier and focuses on finding meaning to his life. Over an incredibly hot summer they come together and find themselves falling into an illicit affair, trying hard not to hurt everyone around them but at the same time failing to stay apart...
