My last one of these lasted for many years but finally broke. This new one is identical. Best peeler I ever used - very comfortable to hold and peels effortlessly. I have had no issue with bluntness - it’s just the same as the last one thankfully.

Great peeler and works well! Light weight

I'll start off this review by saying that around 6-8 years ago I bought this EXACT version of Culinare's peeler from a well known supermarket. I loved and used that peeler religiously for years, and whilst it still worked fine the blade had dulled, and it just looked a bit grimy.Then I stumbled across this one on Amazon, whilst browsing for something unrelated. It was inexpensive, and I thought I'd grab a new one to replace the old.It arrived quickly, and looked identical to my older version. But that's where the similarities end. From the first use it just feels blunt. I feel like it "snags" when I'm peeling, which makes me worry it's going to slip and I'll cut myself. It takes twice as long to peel anything.Long and short of it; I've chucked it in the back of the drawer and I now either use the old version, or my Oxo speed peeler.I'm not sure if I've received a dud, or if Culinaire products have taken a massive step back in quality, but it's just rubbish to be honest. I feel like I don't have the control I need when trying to peel - peelers are surprisingly sharp and easy to cut yourself if not careful, so I just don't want to continue using this one. I tried it around 5-10 times, and that was enough to know it's not me, but the implement.A massive shame, as the old version was probably the best peeler I've ever used. I've added an additional star for the design and ergonomics. It's a super comfortable, natural feeling hold. Shame the blade appears to have been made out of a discarded bit of tin or something. Very disappointed.

Peeling veg etc

The product is fine but at £6.48 its hard to feel good about this purchase. The cost of Production would be about 20p, if that, so how is the recent price hike (£2 today) justified?

Easy to use. Easy to clean. Good for every member of the family lefties and righties. Rather thick peel but that means it makes good ribbon veg when needed.

Very comfortable. Too thick shavings in my opinion. Probably only for large vegetables, because after peeling a thin carrot, almost nothing remains of it.

Great peeler, easy to use. Can do a sweet potato in one swipe.Only issue is you have to keep cleaning it out after every swipe, can’t do multiples because it gets blocked too easily
