A very satisfying adult build at a great price!
The media could not be loaded. Super adult build for Lego fans. Having built a number of increasingly expensive Lego car and architecture kits i was searching for a new challenge before coming upon this wooden printing press kit in Amazon. The price of $60 was a fraction of what I was paying for Legos. Don't get me wrong, Lego kits are great but expensive for the models I was interested in.I decided to take a chance and I'm really glad I did. The wooden parts are laser etched/pre-cut on several sheets. Unlike my experience with balsa wood model airplane kits from my youth, the wood is much thicker and pops out of the frame with some slight pressure. I used an exacto knife to assist the removal process on a very few small and intricate pieces but for these most part that was unnecessary. The instructions were good but not as good as Lego. Each step of the build was explained in a few words or in a diagram. I found it challenging but doable. The kit contains pretty much everything you need to complete the model, e.g., sand paper, a metric ruler, screw driver, wax, screws, etc. and none of the pieces were missing.. The manufacturer claims the printing press can be assembled in 5 hours but I find that hard to believe. Building took a lot of concentration and I would only spend an hour or two at a time so it took me much longer.Okay, the bottom line—A great wooden model build! It was fun, challenging and much less expensive than Legos. I highly recommend it and I'm already picking out my next wooden kit project.

Fun to build and great customer service
This is my second Roku kit I’ve bought and built. The instructions are easy to understand and everything fits together great and looks really cool. I snapped a piece and love that they offer free replacement parts on their website with a $5 shipping cost.

The Teens have it...
My teenage granddaughter absolutely loves this project. We gave this printing press to build for her birthday. She is in advanced and college prep classes in engineering and chemistry as she thinks she may want to go to college to be a chemical engineer. Assembling the press is challenging but fun for her. All the pieces fit and are sturdy, they do not break easily. The press is not complete yet but we are hoping it will be a thing of beauty as well as print beautifully. What she has completed so far looks fantastic.

Really fun, but definitely challenging and time consuming
It's a really cool puzzle to put together. Lots of moving parts and gears, so lots of waxing. overall took about 10 hours to assemble. There were a few tedious and frustrating assembling parts, but I felt accomplished once I passed them. Some of the instructions could be clearer in the booklet, but they do provide videos to aid in assembly (I didn't watch them as I wanted separation from a screen). Overall, cool and fun.*Side note, make sure you have 2 AA batteries to throw in for the lights. Not needed for functionality, just cosmetics.

Fun Project
This was quite the involved item to make but when completed, it was awesome. All the lights worked and all the mechanisms did what they were supposed to. Prints made on the provided card stock came out very good. I would highly recommend this.

Fun little novelty item
Took about 10 hours to put together. The instructions were clear and easy to follow. The piece does work as a novelty little printing press, but it does have some limitations. I need to apply a little bit of extra pressure onto the text plate to get everything to show up on the paper (I don't want to press down hard on the wood lever for obvious reasons). The rubber letters are SMALL! Could easily get lost, especially in carpeting. Be careful when getting them out of their storage plate.I'll probably use it to make little thank you notes.Would be nice to be able to get extra paper and ink pads separately because everything fits the item properly (especially the ink pad).

Rokr projector...NOT for a beginner with these kits...
This was by far the triciest and difficult project I have put together and I have put together at least 5 rokr kits. It also needs to be attached to a heavy piece of wood, as it is difficult to operate bu itself. Just holding the projector to opperate it doesn't work very well.

Great build
The media could not be loaded. Having a lot of extra parts makes me nervous that I missed something, But it's also good in case you break a piece. they were well cut and I didn't end up breaking anything. I love that It comes with more than just letters, so you can really make a lot of cool stuff. I'm very happy with it
