INTENSE
Newlyweds Tricia and Ethan are searching for the house of their dreams. But when they visit the remote manor that once belonged to Dr. Adrienne Hale, a renowned psychiatrist who vanished without a trace four years earlier, a violent winter storm traps them at the estate… with no chance of escape until the blizzard comes to an end.In search of a book to keep her entertained until the snow abates, Tricia happens upon a secret room. One that contains audio transcripts from every single patient Dr. Hale has ever interviewed. As Tricia listens to the cassette tapes, she learns about the terrifying chain of events leading up to Dr. Hale’s mysterious disappearance.Tricia plays the tapes one by one, late into the night. With each one, another shocking piece of the puzzle falls into place, and Dr. Adrienne Hale’s web of lies slowly unravels. And then Tricia reaches the final cassette. The one that reveals the entire horrifying truth. My Thoughts: As I followed along on the journey in Never Lie, I thought I had figured out some of the story, as the alternating narrators revealed the tidbits. But by the end, I was stunned by how much had not been revealed until the final pieces fell into place.Just when I thought I knew who was evil and who wasn’t, I realized that there was so much more to be gleaned from it all.A thrilling tale that kept me turning the pages, this one earned five stars.***

This book is full of secrets.
I didn’t see it coming. In fact, I thought I was so smart thinking ahead, plotting people but little did I know that Freida McFadden was really the one controlling this story and all it’s secrets. It kept me gripped and I couldn’t put it down till the book was finished. Well done.

A very interesting thriller with more than a dozen surprises
Frieda McFadden's "Never Lie" is an engrossing thriller with more than a dozen surprises in store. We read about approximately a dozen people, each of them, without exception, has something they are hiding, and they are lying about it. This includes a famous psychiatrist who wrote two number-one best-selling books, only to disappear from public view. Her boyfriend is the major suspect in her disappearance. Police think he killed her. It also included a young, recently married couple who visit the mansion, which is up for sale. The place seems to be abandoned, but the young wife is certain she hears someone somewhere in the huge house. They are stranded in the massive house due to a severe snowstorm. They are unable to communicate with the outside. It also included a woman whom the psychiatrist treated after suffering the trauma brought on by being the sole survivor of an attack by a man who killed three other people in a cabin with a knife. There is also a man the psychiatrist treated who does not seem to be getting better. Readers will be surprised by all the red herrings and surprises that McFadden inserts in the thriller. It is great.

She’s done it again!
It’s me again, telling you all how much I adore Freida McFadden. I literally cannot get enough of her books. I almost wish I didn’t get through them so quickly because I want to stay with each one longer, but I absolutely can’t put them down! This one was no different. As a psychology major, I loved the real world psychology examples she used. The twists at the end were pretty solid and surprised me even when I thought I had it all figured out. Amazing book, as always!

My Favorite Freida McFadden Yet – Couldn’t Put It Down!
Never Lie is hands-down my favorite Freida McFadden book so far! The pacing is fast, the writing is sharp, and it’s such an easy read—you’ll fly through it in no time. What really stood out was the twist—I never saw it coming! Just when I thought I had things figured out, the story flipped in the best way. McFadden does a great job keeping you hooked from start to finish (which she does in all her books). If you love psychological thrillers with jaw-dropping surprises, this one’s a must-read

Great story line, so so ending.
Was hooked from the beginning but the twist and turns left more to be desired. Overall a good easy read, not the best, but not sad I finished it.

Fantastic book!!
This book was fantastic, its my second Freida book and I've become a fan. I liked that we got to experience the patients sessions and learn about a few of them. I thought I had the idea of the plot twist, but I was so wrong! I absolutely loved it and did not see it coming. I just wanted to keep reading, it was so good and twisty.
