The instructions for how to work with the cards were easy to understand and follow and have been working beautifully. He's been reading better and I think these cards are a big part of the reason. This is what I've been looking for. This is how to teach kids to read. Even if they arent mature enough to sit still and sound words out, they can memorize sounds and patterns. My daughters school sent home flash cards with simple words and just had her memorize them. It was so easy for her. Now we're getting into harder words and she can actually sit down and sound them out. She needs to memorize patterns now to start figuring out harder words. This even has little memory tricks on the back.

Excellent flashcards
I got these for my reluctant reader grandson who was having trouble with double and triple letter combination sounds. The instructions for how to work with the cards were easy to understand and follow and have been working beautifully. He's been reading better and I think these cards are a big part of the reason. I highly recommend them!

Wrong cards
A couple of mistakes in this product. First the description says the color is purple but it’s orange. Secondly, there are two OW cards and missing AW card

These flashcards have been a wonderful addition to our learning at home. My daughter already does Read Write Inc at school, so having these cards at home has been a perfect way to support her learning.
