Moving to Nevada quickly introduced me to the nightmare of hard water. Within weeks, my hair became incredibly dull, heavy, and rough to the touch. I tried multiple shampoos and conditioners to fix the texture, but everything left me disappointed. Then I found L'Oreal EverPure Sulfate-Free Clarify Shampoo, which is specifically formulated for hard water exposure. The very first time I rinsed it out, I actually heard my hair squeak. I knew right then and there that I had found a total winner. It completely cleared away the mineral buildup, leaving my hair lightweight, soft, and shiny again. This is definitely a keeper.

I stayed somewhere and got an odor stuck in my hair. I tried 3 different shampoos before this and nothing worked!! So I bought this product because I read online that a clarifying shampoo and conditioner can help. After one wash, I noticed that the smell was gone. It also left my hair, very soft and smelling great.

Good shampoo. I order it all the time. The only complaint is that you only have to use a teeny tiny bit of conditioner and it is super hard to rinse it all out of your hair. Other than that, I love it because it doesn't have a lot of chemicals in it and it makes my hair full and shiny.

This does exactly what it’s advertised to do. I’m not new to this line—I use a variety of L’Oréal EverPure shampoos and conditioners, and I love that they’re sulfate free. I have a lot of hair and don’t wash it every day, so I was looking for a clarifying shampoo I could use throughout the month to refresh my scalp and remove product build-up from styling. This shampoo and conditioner did not disappoint at all. The shampoo gives a deep clean without stripping my hair, and my scalp feels amazing after using it. I’m also a double-shampoo girly (and a cosmetologist), so I always double cleanse—even on days I’m not using a clarifying shampoo. When I do use this one, I go in with the clarifying shampoo first and then follow up with a more moisturizing shampoo before conditioning. That moisture step is important since clarifying shampoos are meant to deeply cleanse. My hair feels clean, refreshed, and still soft—not dry or brittle. Overall, it’s a great duo if you’re looking to remove buildup while still keeping your hair healthy and manageable.

I only used it one time and I can already see and feel a difference in my hair. Definitely a must have if you have hard water. Don’t waste your money on super expensive products. This is all you need!

Amazing product, I buy it all the time when I run out, only this time, the shampoo had burst and leaked out everywhere. The bottle was empty. The bottles need to be packaged better to prevent this happening during shipment. Maybe wrap the bottles in bubble wrap?
