Very pleased with item

Bought it to replace one I'd had and used for many years but recently broke from pushing through too big beans - my stupid fault. The one I originally had was made in Australia. This one is no where near as good the blades seemed to blunt after a very short time (a few minutes). Oh well only a few quid but I'll try to find a better one and suggest you should too.I tried using it again. After posting the above review. This product is rubbish.

Worked perfectly on first 4 beans then the side guard bend as there is no lever to adjust the width. Now wont work at all. Get one with a lever.

Only used twice but one side produces a thick slice. Slicers possibly not even!

You get what you pay for and this was cheap. Couldn’t put a bean through it. Will go for a more expensive version next time.

So many of us love the taste if fresh runner beans but dislike the time it takes to prepare them well this bean slicer is brilliant my husband loves it so much that he always uses it as its so easy. It arrived quicker than I expected which was great I bought four to give to friends who have seen us using it.

I did wondercwhen I saw the price, I wanted it for runner beans but wouldn't slice even one, it did slice a hard French bean but that was it!
