Pleasantly surprised
I was cautiously optimistic about these helmet liners b/c of the mixed reviews. When I got them they seemed thin and I was skeptical that they would keep the sweat out of my eyes. I sweat a lot and I can't typically wear my hockey helmet without something underneath it to soak up the sweat. These worked surprisingly well. Not quite as good as a beanie but more comfortable for sure. Good value for the money, seems like quality material with good stickiness to keep them in place during game time, but not too sticky that you can't get them out when needed. They fit my adult size large helmet perfectly. Great product overall.

These work great! Fit right in w/ no re-sizing.
Subbed in my local adult ice hockey league last fall using my old CCM helmet and found that in every game I would get back to the bench & have sweat coming down my forehead and into my eyes. Got a new Bauer helmet for Christmas (and a roster spot on the league) and started looking for a "skull-cap" or "do-rag" or something to help prevent the sweat from running down into my face - when I stumbled onto these here on Amazon. Price isn't horrible ($1.50 each for the 12-pack) so I gave the a shot. Initially only put one in my new helmet for the first game of the season - it's simple to install, but isn't crazy sticky so you can shift/adjust as needed. I found that once installed where you want it, wear your helmet for 10-15 minutes & it won't move after that. And it's thin enough to fit right in the front of my helmet with NO adjustments or re-sizing needed at all. During my game it was INSTANTLY better and had NO sweat at all reaching my face! There was the "It's great to skate" event at my local rink yesterday so I wore my old helmet without one of these in there - just doing puck chases with my daughter in the corner of the rink and the sweat was getting down in my eyes & face. I put one of these in as soon as I got home, put it on & watched some TV for 10-15 minutes. I KNOW it'll work...Now the question is how many games & coaching practices for both my kids will I get out of each one? I don't expect they'll last an entire season, but I'm going to test & see how many games/skates I can go before needing to change it out. Already planning to get more so both kids can use them for their hockey practices/games as well!

Perfect for Hockey
My nephew loves these. Its the only brand thats keeps the sweat out of his eyes. He has tried everything and we keep going back to these. Only thing is they keep changing the price and making them more expensive vs. whats listed on thier website. Its frsutrsting considering its a $10 difference for the 12 pack. Wish it would stay equal but otherwise great product.

Works but adhesion is insufficient
For me, there are some pluses and minuses. It's very frustrating to clean your vizor with a towel and then have more sweat within seconds drip across the vizor. And using a towel always leaves streaks. When this sweat liner is securely in place, it really does work. My first game, I had no sweat on my vizor. Another plus is that this made my helmet fit tighter. Unfortunately, during my second game, I did have a little sweat trickle down in the third period. After the game, I took off my helmet and the liner was completely loose. So, I barely got two games worth of use out of one liner. The adhesion is insufficient and if I have to replace every two games, these are way too expensive. Unfortunately, I don't know of any alternatives and I don't want to go back to using a towel.

10/10
Perfect amount of stick to be disposable yet stay on through tough play. So comfortable it feels like it's not there, as far as being very lightweight as well it adds no extra pressure to the head that would affect the way you perform. Kept me from overheating as well by using my own sweat in place to cool my head down rather than a waterfall down my face and visor. More than just a handful of benefits with this product and it delivers that with quality and reliability. Not to mention USA made.

Easy remedy if you have a towel handy
When I decided to switch to a hybrid visor/cage for my player helmet, I was worried about sweat dripping down onto the visor portion of it. I use a straight cut visor on my coaching helmet and had times where sweat would get on it and obscure my vision. Easy remedy if you have a towel handy, but with the hybrid, that isn't as easy. At fellow player's recommendation, I decided to try these liners.I have played four games since getting the liners. The recommendation is two switch them after every use, though I chose to keep the first one in for two games to see how it does. While inexpensive ($1.50 each with a 12 pack), my thought process was to minimize an additional cost to an already expensive sport. I sweat pretty decently while playing and these easily kept the sweat from rolling down my face over the course of both games each. Visor has stayed clear throughout the game.Glue is strong enough to hold the liner in place. However it remains easy to pull out, even after a week of being in a helmet, without any sticky residue left on the helmet padding. So that is definitely a plus.If photos uploaded in correct order, first one (I got it a bit crooked and didn't fix it) is after two games worth of use. Looks like it has at least another game or twos worth of life left. Second one is a fresh line put in for comparison.

Effective sweat management for hockey helmet
Tried the product after receiving a free sample years ago. Had been skeptical, I will admit. Was very pleased with the performance. It made a big difference stopping sweat from dripping down into my eyes. Liner can be re-used a couple times depending on conditions I have found. Stays in place nicely after original application. I play with a full clear face shield, and this has greatly reduced fogging as well as controlling sweat.
