Magic: The Gathering Murders at Karlov Manor Commander Deck - Blame Game (100-Card Deck, 2-Card Collector Booster Sample Pack + Accessories)

Absolutely no complaints on product delivery or quality. The deck theme is unusual for red/white (“Boros”) colors, as it features both the goad mechanic and the new suspect mechanic. It’s a stretch for a critter deck pilot like me, but my first play experience was fun. I kept the other players jumping; one had direct damage and the other was able to use convoke to dodge my goads, though, so I did die. I’ve upgraded with a few on-theme cards from the MKM set, so I’m looking forward to the next session. My recommendation for gameplay: if you draw some decent evasion in the first couple of turns, don’t fire Nelly at the others until you’ve built up some defense. Otherwise, you’re going to need to attack early and pretty much every turn to avoid being stomped by a gang of menacing, suspected creatures.

I. Love. This. Deck. For a pre-con, it's great right out of the box. The goading mechanic is engaging, forces player interactions, and adds a unique layer of strategy to your attacks. 5/5, would recommend.

Looked up what cards where in it and the value of those before purchasing. It was a good value for the cards I was looking for. Make sure you verify the value of what you need is in the box before purchasing. If you are looking for a deck to play with, I would recommend going to you tube and checking out some of the budget decks from the Professor or MTG goldfish first. Those often cost around the same price but will play better than the precons. Box arrived undamaged, and everything promised was there. Shipped and Sold by Amazon.

Goad and politics is what makes commander different from 1v1 formats. I like the game states it can introduce but removal needs a serious upgrade.

If you stink at this game like me, this deck is the deck for you! Just goad everyone else into attacking each other, and make it too painful for anyone to attack you. Then win off the carnage that is left.
