3M Venture Tape FSK Facing Tape 1525CW, Pressure Sensitive, Cold Weather Adhesion, Foil, Scrim, Kraft, UL723 Classified, 2.83 in x 50 Yd (Pack of 1)

Replaced my air handler and in the process I had to break the seal between the air handler duct and the sheetrock on the ceiling. This worked great to re-seal the gap between the duct and the sheetrock and the duct to the air handler. It's fiberglass reinforced aluminum tape with a strong adhesive so It stuck great to all 3 surfaces and with the fiberglass reinforcement there are no worries about it tearing. Never disappointed with 3M tape.

Nice wide SFK tape. I am using it to attach foil faced foam duct insulation. Sticks very well as long as you slick it down with a plastic spreader. Don't cut off the backing with the tape because it is a real challenge to get it started again. Instead, once you have the backing separated, cut just the tape and it is easy.

I originally thought this was a little costly … until I started using it. This tape was amazing. Very easy to use excellent adhesion. I especially like the fibers that run through it for added strength and the foil tape is so much easier to use than regular duct tape because, like tinfoil, it will crinkle and bend and keep its shape around odd angles and elbows etc. I would buy it again in a minute, but I only have one furnace hah.
