Works as advertised

Works great at first, but months later it's basically useless.
Bought it after the Samsung remote that came with our TV lost a fight with spilled nail polish remover. This one immediately worked on our TV (except for the voice-recoed button which has never worked but we can live without) but over the few months we've had it, it's become increasingly ineffective. It started with the center round "select" becoming less and less reliable, and now all of the buttons are hit or miss. Sometimes I have to click a button ten to fifteen times over and over just for it to register on the TV, which is totally annoying. If you need a temporary remote to hold you over, go for it. If you're looking for a lasting replament, get another remote. In my opinion it's not worth the money you'll save over choosing a more reliable brand.

get the official replacement from Samsung
this is very inaccurate. you must be pointed exactly at the right spot or it is a brick. we purchased it to replace one that we use in the bedroom. we actually have to sit up in bed for it to work. it was cheap, but a waste of money none the less.
