One of the best utility knife for general around-the-house use + ideal for the weekend DIY-er!
After putting this knife through its paces over a long weekend of home repairs including cutting shingles and installing carpet, I found that this knife has it all.The advantages of this knife come down to ergonomics and safety. In use, the contoured handle and deep finger notch make for a grip that is both comfortable and secure, with or without gloves. This knife can be easily (and quickly) opened and closed with one hand, and it locks in both the open and closed positions for ease of making strong, downward cuts, like on a carpet. Changing blades is simple, a nice, springy belt hook helps keep it portable, the included belt case is a nice addition and makes storing the replacement blades convenient. You can’t be the price relative to value. It’s a nice, all-around utility knife + a fantastic tool to have in the home tool box or junk drawer. It cuts with a removable razor blade, so the edge is both incredibly sharp and very disposable, making it ideal for all of the grunt-work cutting that’s too difficult for scissors and too dulling and damaging for a pocket knife. It’s good for jobs like breaking down cardboard boxes for recycling, cutting carpeting, or slicing the painted seam on a stuck window. I used it to size a small patch for a linoleum floor, trimmed a rug pad, and opened some products trapped in those blister-pack nightmares you get from Costco. Drywall, tarps, rope and even roofing shingles can all be cut with ease and safety with this utility knife. To get the full range of use out of the knife + as much safety and portability as possible, this ‘folding style’ is much better with a retractable. It is smaller to store, has a convenient belt hook, and because of the way the folded blade nests in the body of the knife + locks, there is virtually no chance of the knife accidentally deploying in your pocket (or getting snagged + opening). When closed, folding knives are typically two to four inches shorter than retractables, making them a better fit for a pants pocket. But when unfolded, the two are about the same length, so there is no loss of grip area with this folded variety.I paid special attention to the grip on this knife, the blade changing process, the folding mechanism, and blade storage- all of which are superior, and no matter what you’re doing, whether opening a bag of ice melt to cutting an asphalt roof shingle, you want to make sure that you have a good grip on any dangerous tool. This knife ensures your grip with finger ridges and groove- it supplies a physical impediment to slippage and keeps your fingers and hand safe when cutting. The only downside I can mention (it is minimal) is storage for additional blades. Because it doesn’t take a lot to dull or break the edge of a razor, constant trips to the toolbox for new ones can get to be a hassle. It’s possible to go through three or four blades on a tough job, and the ability to have a few extras on hand saves time and energy. This would not be a deal breaker for me if I were to purchase this knife again, which I most certainly would.Because of its styling, it has a lot of the appeal of a traditional knife. Some people don’t see a utility knife as refined enough for them- with this knife, I disagree. It has all the bells + whistles of much more expensive models + the styling of a traditional knife. I prefer utility knives for their disposable blades. You always have a nice edge, and I never have to think for even a second about blade maintenance. I live a fairly aggressive DIY lifestyle, so traditional blades don’t last very long in my pocket.

Easiest utility knife to own and operate!
This is the perfect item for anyone working in shipping and receiving. It has made my life so much easier when it comes to opening a box or cutting something on the fly and I don't have to look around for a random box cutter or a pair of scissors. It is light enough that I can wear it on my belt without noticing it (thanks in part to the free belt holster that comes with it!) and substantial enough that I won't just put it down and forget it. I can get a nice clean, even cut through a corrugated cardboard box for making the sharpest displays quickly and quite easily every time. The grip is even superior to some lock back knives I've owned, but the best part here is no sharpening is required - all I have to do is turn the disposable utility blade around or add a new blade to the handle in a flash with that blade release button. Easiest and most useful blade I've ever had to carry on me to date.I truly enjoy the locking/release button being on the side of the handle. Allows for ease and safety of opening and closing the blade. My favorite part was how well oiled the blade and handle came. Everything just slid effortlessly. Pure and simple, this tool just works! It does the job it was built for and does it exceptionally well.

Great while it lasted
After repeated use over the course of a year the center screw fell out.

Very solid, cool but still functional.
Attractive, durable blade. Biggest surprise was that the handle has more of a 'blued' finish than it seems in the pictures, but I was okay with that. I also wish that the blade itself was adjustable within the handle and for there to be a second wood panel on the other side of the handle to make it symmetrical. The clip on the handle also says Fancii which is a little cheesy but not glaring. The pouch it comes with on the other hand is flimsy and largely unattractive, especially compared to the otherwise well-built piece of hardware.

Safe and well-made
When I purchased this utility knife I was hoping it would be as useful and well-made as it looked. When it arrived, I was happy to discover it is very well made and has great safety features. The replaceable blade is securely mounted but very easy to change, just push the black button above the blade and it releases the blade. The blade can then be flopped to the second side or replaced with a new blade. The knife can be stored in the included belt holster or clipped onto your belt with the clip attached to the knife. The blade folds and locks into the knife to protect the blade. It is also easily released to open for use. It is a great tool.

Nicely detailed, great knife
I agree with the other 5 star reviewers. This is a very nice, finely crafted knife. I like the wood accent. It looks great and fits in my hand extremely well providing a good grip and control. The replaceable blade is wonderful. You don't have to worry about damaging the blade knowing that you can easily replace it for a new razor sharp blade.I noticed the single 3 star reviewer stated that there was play between the blade and handle. I don't experience that at all. There is virtually no play in my knife, certainly no more than any of my pocket knives.I don't think it's necessary to rehash what others have said other than to say you'll be happy with it. It's a great deal for the price.

Excellent folding box cutter
It looks heavy but it's actually very light. It has a nice handle for big hands. In the back the clip is screwed in separate fromThe blade so the clip doesn't come loose like my other one .thats attached to the handle blade ,when you open the handle the clip will come loose then if you tighten the screw to much you can't flip it open. This has a push button to open and lock perfect and perfect clipping it on the case
