Beautifully simple design
I purchased this watch for 3 reasons: 1) brand name, Skagen = quality; 2) sleek design; 3) large, readable face. Also, a bonus feature is that it's weightless on my wrist. I have enjoyed and appreciated this watch every time I wear it.

My Skagen watch
Love my watch. I have always had a skagen watch!

Simple, elegant, scratchable
I‘d call this 4.5 stars; I rounded down because the glass on the face is more fragile than I‘d like and had a visible scratch within a couple weeks (see first picture). That said, I appreciate that it has enough notches to actually fit on my small wrists, and I love the overall aesthetic. It has a sleek and (ironically) timeless look, befitting both casual and professional outfits, and it’s comfortable to wear – it’s light and doesn’t pinch. Comparing directly against my phone every couple weeks, I also find it keeps pretty accurate time and doesn’t have to be adjusted too often.

Beautiful watch
I had a silver-toned Skagen that fell and the watch face shattered. Since they wanted almost as much as a brand new watch just to replace the face, I bought this one. It's two toned and very pretty. I expect it to last as long as I don't drop it!

Lovely
This is lovely feminine watch. Variation in colors barley shows. Soft silver and gold. Dressy but simple enough to go with jeans. I think I am get AA lot use from this watch. Latching bracelet is a little complicated but once you got it you are good to go. All it does is tell the time & look lovely .

Bracelet Clasp Does Not Fasten Securely
Bracelet falls off because small, fold over, metal clasp does not fasten securely. Watch is only 13 months old. I have had two similar Skagen watches over the years without this problem. We will contact Skagen for support. UPDATE. Customer Service reps tell us we must buy a new band for $50 to rectify Skagen's problem. The defective, small, fold over metal clasp (the size of my thumbnail), simply slides off the watch band and appears to be an extremely inexpensive part. Customer Service says Skagen no longer stocks parts in the U.S. and it must be obtained from France. Since 2012, Skagen reportedly has been a wholly - owned subsidiary of Fossil Company. Skagen's Customer Service Reps were unhelpful to me and I greatly regret the purchase of this Skagen watch because the lack of an inexpensive small part means this expensive watch will now sit in a drawer. I do not understand how Fossil can successfully market this Skagen watch with such inadequate customer support.
