Amazing controller!
First off Halleffect Sticks ! Been using this now for 2 weeks or so and it's been great I like many other people have suffer with major stick drift from new controllers out of the box or after some use so far this has been great the whole controller is almost perfect.I came from using a Scuff instinct pro which I do miss the mouse click triggers but the triggers on this turtle beach are good enoughOnly small issue that most have seen is the View and options buttons being placed in a some what bad place Mostly the View button on the top left in come games this opens up a map and pressing it means using your thumb and moving off the left stick which isn't great

It's a Gimmick
The build is terrible and feels like it's made of cheap plastic, no real grip at all, the buttons are all "mouse" buttons which is great to start with BUT they jam and stick loads and mine has started to become unusable. I contacted turtle beach customer support and was told it needs replaced BUT while it's under warranty, they said they only refund 30 days if purchased from tb directly... The actual connection to the Xbox is meh, drops unless hard cabled, application to configure the controller is HORRIBLE and looks like a five year old made the thing, connecting to a phone last 3 minutes before disconnecting as well. Had nothing but problems in it's practical applications and in it's gimmick applications it also fails sooo flat. It's not worth 50 quid. Let alone pushing to nearly 200. Also after about a week it just stopped turning on my console. So now it has no control to turn on my console either. Some of these are small and maybe insignificant but when you pay premium price and get very basic controller mechanically that is NOT built to last. I have had it 7 months and it's gave me nothing but problems but when you spend as much as it worth you dont want to give up. Unfortunately it's happened. Won't use tb products again after this product and the customer service pretty much telling me your on your own... Poor from them.

Really good alternative to the official controllers, now my go to controller!
I was dubious at first, but I plumped for this controller over another "Elite" Microsoft controller as I've had two of them so far and the right shoulder button has "gone" on both of them! I decided if I was going to spend in the region of £120 on a premium controller I'd try something different.Been going a few months on this now, mostly playing Assassin's Creed Odyssey, which is intensive on that top right shoulder button since it's the main attack one! Still going strong and cracking heads with it.The controller sits nicely in the hands, the buttons are slightly out from the standard controller but you get used to it very quickly. It's very responsive and it looks good too, what with all the LED lighting and so on.About the lighting, it may contribute to the battery consumption quite considerably. I've not run out yet, but after maybe 6 hours of gaming I have noticed when I put it back on charge it is around the 30% mark. This might be a consideration for people out there who have a worse gaming habit than me! You can turn the lights off and so on, so you can probably extend the battery life to a certain degree if you play with the settings.I've ostensibly used this on my X Box, but I did plug it into my laptop and it performed equally well on there; plus you have the application to download where you can program the additional buttons, set profiles and the like.I have had occasions where it took a couple of minutes for a connection between the controller and the BluTooth stick that comes with it. I don't know though, that may have been me, so I'm not going to dock points for it.Overall, a very nice peripheral and one that I am glad I took a chance on. Mostly because 6 months on I'm not looking to replace it because it's faulty, like the similarly priced Microsoft ones!

Excellent pad with fantastic configuration options.
This is a tough review. On one hand I really like the controller over my Xbox Elite 2 but my judgement is somewhat skewed by the fact I bought this controller at a much reduced price via Amazon Warehouse. If I had paid full price I think I would be slightly disappointed with the overall feel of the pad. It works very well but it doesn't "feel" premium, but then it is a bit cheaper than the Elite 2Anyway - this pad is not as heavy as the Elite 2 which is actually a good thing (for me at least). I can game for much longer using this pad than the Elite 2. Functionality is almost identical to the Elite 2 and my PC actually sees it as a proper xbox controller so there should be no compatibility issues. The D-pad and face buttons don't feel quite as good as the Elite 2 but they work well and you get used to the extremely short throw of the face buttons which is the main difference. What makes this controller stand out is the way you can tweak the pad settings on the fly using the built in display, which seems to be Turtle Beach's thing these days. Settings like axis response curves, deadzones, vibration settings, profiles and LED colours can all be changed directly from the pad which is really good. This is just as well as the Windows App is a bit rubbish!Wireless has worked flawlessly for me and the recharge/docking station is a very nice inclusion which the Elite2 simply doesn't have as standard. I haven't seen any lag or disconnections at all.The hall effect sticks are extremely smooth and accurate. You can easily run at zero deadzone on all games. I thought I would miss the swappable stick lengths that the Elite 2 has but I've found the sticks on The Stealth Ultra to be excellent just as they are with no issues in driving or flying games. The only other issue I have found is the Select button is in a slightly awkward position meaning your thumb has to reach over the left stick to press it which feels odd compared to a proper xbox pad. You get used to it though.Overall this is an excellent package, but the RRP is probably a little high.
