Awesome Reel!
Awesome camera. I have field tested almost 130 spinning reels in Hawaii and PNW. Smooth, light and the loudest drag to the Quantum reliance 30(deemed as the LOUDEST drag of the 130 field tested reels) but this reel is lighter, smoother and easier the handle. I got the 2k, 3k, 4k and 5k!!

Very nice reel
Super light reel. Use it for brackish water and spooled with 14lb mono. Smooth retrieval and cast. The drag clicker is fairly noticeable to hear and the reel was able to handle keep size black drum and speckled trout.Possible problem for people with big hands. You may run into issues with the bail making contact with your fingers.

Smooth Fast and Good Quality
This reel is a do it all for sure, super smooth and fast, for around $100 this is a no brainer! It’s on the smaller end of the 4000 size range but packs a punch with huge drag power for its size. Holds plenty of line and performs like a $300-$400 reel!

ISX c5000 size - Nice and light. It IS a compact 5000 for sure
I like this reel a lot. It is super smooth. Pretty light. Extremely light for a 5000 class reel. I would say size and weight wise this feels like a 3500 all aluminum reel. I like it, and am keeping it, but it doesn't match well with my rod I was planning on using. A "true" 5000 reel would work. I am also not sure how well it would take the level of inshore abuse that I would put on a 5K reel. Again, overall it is a great reel, but be mindful of the c5000 model number. It is lighter duty and more precise than a typical reel stating this size. The ISX 4000 runs a little small as well. Great reels, lots of innovation and I do recommend this new model.

Awesome reel
I was looking for another reel in a 5000 and happened to come across this okuma after reading the specs I decided to grab it and have been more than pleasantly surprised. It’s super light weight so I don’t get tired of casting currently have on a 7ft rod and it has been awesome I already picked up another. I have caught porgy Black Sea bass and dogfish and had no problems with any.

A great reel for a great price!!
This reel is buttery smooth! I love that the anti reverse is built in and there no switch for it so there’s less chance of water or sand getting into your reel. Definitely recommend this item!

As smooth as a Stradic FL
ISX-4000XAGreat feeling reel. Spooled with 30lb J-Braid, I have it paired with a 9ft Okuma Nesika MH surf rod. 24lbs of drag and is smooth, no jerkiness and casts well. The retrieve is buttery smooth.
