It’s a support food for sick and injured birds in the process of recovery. Designed to be a source of nutrients that are easily assimilated. It’s not suitable for crop candidiasis. Mix with lukewarm water (98-102ºF) at a concentration of 20-25% (similar texture of a shaken yogurt or smoothie). Crop should be full but not overstuffed. Confirm that the crop is empty in the morning. Leftover formula must be discarded after each feeding bout. Veterinary supervision is recommended to fully attend sick and injured birds. No vitamin or mineral supplements should be given to parrots whose staple food is PSITTACUS daily diets. Once the package is opened, store in an air-tight container in a cool, dry place.
