Waterproof Mens W3 3.5mm Backzip Wetsuit

Waterproof does not use the stretchiest material...what they do is make a huge number of different sizes. I've tried just about every super-stretchy suit, and what I find is that the material is good from around 100 or so dives in ends up as a thin layer of rubber. Nice if you only dive a few times a year, but I have gone thru a lot of suits. So,have tried this. You have to very carefully check they size chart and get the correct size, and the sized don't seem to match anyone else. For me that was 2X large. Amazingly, it was a near perfect fit, and it is extremely warm. Oddly, it is easier to put on, as it seems being the right size is a huge plus. Next was checking it's weight (as it should be heavier than a standard 3mm suit), as travelling these days with a heavy suit is a major issue..it was just a couple oz's heavierThe big question is just how it wears, and will know than in the next two months (with over 60 dives planned)..but so far the features (zippers on the legs and arms, the fit and the lining are the best I have seen. Will post once I know that long term effects, but don't expect it to be worse.

I ordered a large at 5'9 & 215lbs. The suit fit perfect through mid section; however, i had to return due to the thighs and shoulders were to small for my frame. That said the suit is the nicest and most comfortable I've ever put my hands on.*The four star rating was based off the fit & and attention to detail; I'm sure a water test would bump this wetsuit to a 5 star rating.

This is a very good fitting suit. The sleeve and leg zippers make it very easy (for a wetsuit) to get in and out of. The fit is perfect for me. MAKE SURE you go the Waterproof website and download the measurement work sheet. After you complete that and pick your size you should have a great fit. And fit is what it is all about.

I searched for 3 months to find a wet suit that I would want to wear. Not only do I look really sexy in this wet suit, but it fits so much more comfortably than any of the other wet suits I tried on. I stayed warmer in the water for longer periods of time, and my movement wasn't severely impacted. I went Kayaking, following the Orca Whale Pod migration south for almost a week. This suit was subjected to many things. I did get kind of warm while on the go, but it was to be expected. Now my partner wants the womens version.

This is the 5th suit I have owed by Waterproof over the years. Great suit and short, neck zipper on the front is my favorite feature. The feet and ankle seals practically eliminates water flow through the suit, making for a warmer suit for the thickness.

Very nice wetsuit, husband really likes it. Good fit with ordering the large tall. My husband isn’t very tall, but the regular large was too short in the arms and legs. Feels much warmer than a 3mm and he really likes having zippers on the wrists and ankles.

I was right between two sizes in the size chart (ML/L), I went up a size but I wish I'd gone down a size. Otherwise excellent suit, love the materials, cut, and build quality, a pleasure to wear and quite warm for a 3mm. I plan to get the 5mm version as well.

This is the best wet suit I have ever had. It is just plain great. Pay attention to the size chart. It fit me snug but was perfect in the water.
