I have a couple pisugar products and all have worked great. Recently I did have an issue with one of them, so i reached out to their customer support team, not really expecting much, I was greeted with swift and polite responses, in a few email exchanges, the customer service rep had a completely new unit shipped out to me. Iv used other products to power different projects, but I will solely use PiSugar products from here on out, they are reasonably priced, fairly straightforward to operate and mount, they have an excellent GitHub repo and on top of all that, the customer service is excellent!

I was mildly disappointed the S model doesn't have any level reporting like the 2 or 3, but it wasn't nessessary, so the device does what I need. Allows for IoT device portability, I can safely unplug my pi zero and take it on the road and plug it back in where available without having to shutdown or reboot. Approximately 6-8 hours on a charge at average usage. If you need features like auto save/shutdown or the built in clock, spend a few bux more on the Sugar 2 or 3. If all you want is portability, can't go wrong with the less expensive S.

Quality is solid. I haven't implemented it into my project just yet so I'm currently going off first impression only here for now: Board is nice and thick and designed well. There's 2 "earth" magnets that hold the battery onto the board. They're fairly strong and I'm slightly nervous about sticking a Pi close to them lol. It came with a card with .stl file location for an enclosure you can 3D print if you have one which is neat. Seems like a good build and packaging was top notch. I'll update after using with any code or whatever. I'm enthusiastic after checking it out.
