Duckman: The Complete Series

Dude, it's Duckman, like I watched this when it came out. Probably shouldn't have at my age, but it was great then and so many memories and understanding now.

Bought as a gift for my Boyfriend at the time. Still great after all these years

Freaking god dang hilarious series. Wish they would make another season.

ABSOLUTELY LOVED this show when it ran in the 90s. Never stopped liking it, but it's not really syndicated so I bought the box set for the series. Great buy, every episode is there, listed per DVD. Worth the price

Very funny on TV ... Loved it then!

First off, the copy I received had packaging damage. The spine of the case had the plastic/cover ripped about 1/5 the way up the side, and some of the plastic inside of the case broke off and splintered inside.That aside, this is probably the best bet one would have of getting a hold of the entirety of this series now. I thought, due to the usual "this is an old series, republishing it would result in all kinds of edits" shenanigans Hollywood is fond of, that the episodes would be gutted at points, especially when it came to licensed music. But they're more intact than I thought they'd be. Honestly, the only way I'd be able to tell the difference, other than a few really notable edits, would be to side-to-side compare them to someone's old at-broadcast-taped VHS copies.Other than that, my only real "issues" are "oh man, 10 DVDs, yowza", and that the subtitles aren't something you can switch on and off from an in-use menu on most machines. (ex: playing on a PS3 or a generic DVD player required me to manually turn the "always show subtitles" option in the machine's options). Seriously? I'd buy this collection again if it was on Blu-Ray.Also...this show still holds up, surprisingly. And by that, I mean "holds up pretty darn well". (But yeah, they would NEVER allow a show like this to be made these days. Nope, nope, nope. Duckman isn't the hero we deserve, he's the hero...err...well...not a complete monster? Mostly? ...kind of? he's funny, tho)

I love Duckman, a show that could never be made in today's PC-obsessed world. It's irreverent, insulting, and minorly offensive- and that is only some of its greatness. The voiceover work is also superb.Unfortunately, the set arrived with 4 discs loose from their "teeth" and they were all scuffed and scratched. The "teeth" for the last disc had been broken so badly the disc could no longer be held there. Several of the discs also looked smeared, for lack of a better word. This is one of the frustrations of buying multi-disc sets. The packaging generally leaves something to be desired of. "We can put a man on the moon" but we can't seem to find a way to reliably secure multi-disc DVD sets, particularly against the rigors of shipping.Returning for an exchange and hoping set #2 fares better.

I remember staying up late as a kid to watch Duckman; a raunchy, late-night, adult cartoon before adult cartoons were a thing. Extremely glad I was able to find this when ai did for the price I did. Still a wonderfully raunchy adult cartoon ❤️

Me hubiera vuelto loco con el doblaje latino de esta serie, es la misma voz de sawyer en desaparecidos. Pero en fin, sigue siendo una gran serie animada.

Remember watching and loving Duckman at ludicrous hours of the morning in the 90s. Finally gave in and treated myself to the full box-set. It's even better than I remember, Jason Alexander as Duckman is just genius, not to mention Cornfed and the rest of the characters too. Like the other reviewer, I have no idea why this isn't on BBC3 with Family Guy, American Dad etc, this is every bit as good and was probably the template for most adult animation that followed. If you're a fan of F.G & A.D etc you really do owe yourself Duckman!

A lot of positive aspects - delivery within promised time, good price, correct product.The only negative aspect was the broken casing (with splinters on the inside) due to the package being impacted by other packages. The disc were luckily unharmed. The package was send in an envelope with booblewrap - but appearently the handling of the packages by the postal service was so rough, that I would suggest using cardbox packaging at least for more expensive orders.
