Love the texture and the taste. It is a very delicate taste, some sort of very delicate taste of banana with pineapple possibly but not strong or ultra sweet. Just a little bit sweet. I was scared at the beginning as I know the bad fame that the actual fresh Jack Fruit has regarding its odour, but the freeze dried product doesn’t small at all. Already ordered a second time and will order again. Have read someone saying is quite a filling snack and it is indeed. Not very cheap but I rather eat a healthy snack that having sugar rush from sugary crap treats or crips full or salt

Usually when the price is £9.99, it comes crispy and absolutely amazing. Somehow when I bought 3 bags when it was discounted to £7.99, all 3 bags were soft and frankly quite disgusting.

This is the first time I've tasted jackfruit and found them to be light and easy to eat. As I opened the bag, I could smell the waft of pineapple and apple fragrance. The pieces are easy to bite but I'd rather allow then to get moist and enjoy the flavour and taste, There doesn't seem to be alot, but there is actually quite alot of pieces inside. Very healthy and absolutely delicious snack. I thoroughly enjoyed them.

On the package there's a statement "Pretty unique fruit" and I will agree with that, in fact, it's an understatement if anything!I've always been curious of exotic fruit and this is my first time having Jackfruit. The second it hit my tongue I had a complete ride. First thought was "eww" then it was "Hmm" followed by "Oh" then "Mmm". My first coherent thought however was that it tasted like cheese (I had heard of a fruit which did and I thought it was this so perhaps my mind tricked me into it) but then I tasted a sort of Banana / Apple flavour. Looking it up I saw claims that it tastes of pulled pork but I didn't get that.So what's the verdict? Actually, I quite liked it, the initial taste was a bit of a shock but it grew on me rather quickly. It certainly is very unique! The pieces are nice and large and they have a good crunch to them. Suffice to say, I ate the whole bag.Would I have them again? Yes, happily. I'm not going to go out of my way to get them but they're certainly different and I'm glad I got to experience them. The best thing is even though they're freeze dried and quite light, I actually found them rather filling.At £9.99 I don't really know what to say, they're a unique and I'd assume quite rare fruit to find here so I do think it's what I would expect to pay. It's a bit expensive to have as a daily snack but for a treat I think it's fine.

I love these snacks. I always keep one bag next to my laptop, it’s my favorite treat. They are healthy, no added sugar and so tasty.
