We got Hair Chox at a small toy story in Malibu a couple years ago and a few times a year I try to buy these as birthday gifts. If you spot them buy them. Web search says Target so I'll try that. They are a bit waxy in application and overenthusiastic girls can leave chunks - but as the day goes on the color stays and the chunks disappear. "Disappearing chunks" sounds messy, but whatever this formula is, it's bright on the hair but has never left clothing, house or tub residue. It washes out of the hair until the next time. We've had others (I groaned when gran bought them figuring I'd could disappear them if they were gross) but these have been lasting treasures that come out for all dress up occasions and I'm cool with it all.

My five year old daughter loved it. I’m giving it a 3 star rating due to the packaging. A lot of the glitter had spilled out in the plastic packaging. Also, the containers that the glitter comes in is too small. It’s impossible to open it without wasting more glitter. It’s very messy upon opening.

This product was an absolute mess and not very vibrant on my child’s dark brown hair.

Great quality hair chalk! With being stuck inside so much this year, we’ve been looking for easy, fun stuff for my daughter to do. This is super easy to wash out with shampoo and sticks the hair better than some prior brands we have tried- which is great! No mess, which is great! Highly recommend!
