Nefarious (Rock Candy Romantic Suspense)

Nefarious takes the reader into the life of an aging, yet still handsome and sexy rock star, Lex Callatori through his relationship with the protagonist, Harlie Steele. Harlie is just a regular gal who happens to catch Lex’s eye at one of his concerts.As their relationship blossoms, so does danger. Someone wants the duo parted and does their best to break them up, even putting their lives in danger. The author does a great job at keeping the reader guessing. Part romance, part thriller, part mystery, this novel has a little of everything and whole lot of entertainment value.

Gotta love a rocker who falls for an abused single mom. Lex is a seasoned professional bad boy that falls hard for Harli, a young recently divorced woman who had suffered abuse. I loved Zoey and her funny lines. The characters are regular people and her dad named her after his bike, what could be better?? This is a really cool book and I enjoyed every word.

Hot and sexy mixed with laugh-out-loud funny! I can't remember the last time I've enjoyed a book so much. 100% well-brought-up Southern girl channels the bad girl we all want to be now and then!

Ms. Hayes really outdid herself with this novel. "Nefarious" has it all, it's a suspense story that will keep you wondering what's just around the corner, a steamy romance and at times the author adds just the right touch of humor. The main character, Harlie, has been a fan of the rock group, FireStorm, since she was a young teen. When the lead singer of the band pulls her up on stage during a concert her life changes forever. The events that follow make you not want to put the book down. This is must read.
