Sunburst Snacks Black Jumbo Raisins, Natural Dried Fruit, No Added Sugar, 500G

These raisins are just as they say, fat and dark, and sweet. I use them to add to no-churn, home-made Elderflower Liqueur ice cream. Very easy: Half a can of Nestle's condensed milk (405g size), 1 large pot (600 ml) double cream, BIG splash vanilla essence, St Germain (or M&S) Elderflower Liqueur to taste, large handful raisins. First, soak raisins in enough liqueur to cover for at least an hour, or in the fridge overnight. Drain, saving the liquid and raisins separately. Whip condensed milk, cream and vanilla essence together till lighter and fluffier, about 5 mins with a handheld electric whisk - then very gently mix in the liqueur you've drained from the raisins, and lastly fold in the raisins. Taste and add more vanilla essence/liqueur if ness. Freeze for a few hours. No need for an ice-cream maker and no need to take out and mix every hour or so. You could also swap the liqueur for rum to make Rum and Raisin ice cream - or any other flavour you fancy. Yum!

I love these. The texture is perfect, the taste is sweet and they're the perfect healthy snack. I have these with freeze dried strawberries and they go perfectly. Great value for money

I grani di uvetta sono come descritti, gialli translucenti brillant. Oltre ad essere buoni fanno una bellissima figura se messi in un dolce Sono però della di una grandezza appena superiore a quella solita, non so perché mi aspettavo della uvettona, per farne del pane con l'uva super super. Invece è venuto solo super. Ma non mi posso lamentare.
