Good value for money for the power it brings
This is actually relatively easy to assemble however the instructions are terrible with poor quality photos rather than diagrams which would be a lot more helpful. The unit itself is brilliant, possibly more heavy duty than needed for a residential garden. The motor has started making strange noises after a couple of hours of use which I'm sure isn't normal

Does the job well
Not as lightweight as I thought. In fact I think it's a tad heavy but still a great bit of kit. No good if you are shorter that 5ft 8" at least as you wouldn't be able to hold it nor use the harness....in fact needs a better harness, in fact the clasp on the harness is extremely poor.

Avoid like the plague
Fairly easy to assemble. It is heavy, but not excessively, however it was difficult to get the balance and grip right even after several adjustments. The crunch for me came when on it's first use the nut on the spring loaded locking pin came loose and was lost. This was due to the vibration, which was surprisingle fierce. I used the Amazon link to email the firm, but that wouldn't work. I tried telephoning, but got a message saying they were closed and giving me their opening hours. I was xalling within those hours. I then found an email adddress and sent a message. The following day when I had not had a reply or acknowledgement I telephoned again. The telephone operator went through the instruction booklet with me to identify the part, then told me that it only came with the handle assembly, and not as a seperate item. She said to try again in a couple of weeks to see if they had any in stock. This sounded like a complete fobbing of of the issue, so at that point I contacted Amazon to return the item. I will try again with a manufacturer that, hopefully, has a decent after sales service.

Pros and Cons
Lasted me an hour before the head just exploded into pieces, the engine itself is very strong and showed no fault whatsoever arrived on time and was in perfect condition. My advice would be if you're using this for a long period of time, don’t, the machine cannot handle it.The Weed Eater blade is very powerful, but the cons with this are that the vibration is very high, you still get a bit of vibration with the line cutter, but not nearly as bad, it’s almost uncontrollable with the blade.I used this machine on a very very overgrown garden with extremely thick Bramble and it tore it all to shreds.Overall it’s a half decent machine for the price, just don’t work any longer than a hour with it or you might start getting some heat problems. So that's the only real draw back for £150 it's one of the best at that price, to get heat resistant materials and the machine power/durability the price is going to creep up to probably around £300-£400.There were no faults with the engine, I used a 40:1 Ratio mix(25ml Oil for 1 Litre Unleaded Fuel), and it run perfectly and sounded very healthy. It's not the best on the market, but for this price it is very good. I hope this helps anyone looking to buy this machine.

A classic design machine, very good value
I liked the classic design and operationI am very impressed with itIf you are experienced with brush cutters it would be an advantageNo decompression,so you get your arm pulled now and again but a very good starter

It’s essential to get the machine balanced. It’s heavy. The harness needs to take the weight.
This is a heavy brush cutter. If your thinking of using it like a small electric strimmer it’s probably not for you.It is essential to get the machine balanced so the harness takes the weight. The stock harness isn’t great. I’ve binned it and bought a decent one. Once fuelled and oiled up I suspended the machine from its hanging hook to a beam on my shed ceiling. With it hanging adjust the position of the hook on the machine so it has a very slight forward balance. It will then naturally tip down slightly when in use but still be manoeuvrable. Once balanced you can then adjust the handle bar to a suitable position. It is quiet compared to 2 stroke models and there is no mixing of oil and Petrol required. It is a powerful machine and will handle most brush and grass.
