TN 660 Toner Cartridge Replacement for Brother TN 660 TN630 Work with HL-L2300D HL-L2305W HL-L2360DW MFC-L2740DW MFC-L2700DWR DCP-L2540DN Printer

Finally got low on toner on my HL-2340D and was looking for some toner. Decided to save some money and try this, and I'm glad I did.I can not tell any difference in print quality between this and the official Brother toner that I replaced. Text is sharp, no smears, just no issues at all. Would definitely recommend it. I have not had it long enough to to know the longevity but I expect it to be long enough where I forget when I bought it.

This is my first time ordering a non-Brother brand toner cartridge. I ordered the double toner pack due to the the great price and reviews. Over all, I'm giving the product 5 stars however, be aware that you may have to do some additional work to make you and your print both happy.I was initially disappointed that after I had followed the Brother toner replacement steps exactly, that my printer was still reporting my toner being low. After about 5-6 times repeating the replacement steps and still getting the same toner low message, I did some research online and found that I may need to manually reset my toner setting on my printer. Finding the correct sequence of buttons to press was the next challenge. For my MFC-2705DW I had to have the front panel door open to expose the toner cartridge and then press and hold the "Menu" button for approximately 5 seconds after which time I then selected the appropriate type of toner cartridge by scrolling up/down until, in my case, I found the "TNR-HC" and then pressed #1 on the keypad and closed the front panel door.Now my low toner message was gone however, when I printed a test page I noticed that one side of the test page was significantly lighter than the rest of the results. To correct this I removed the toner cartridge again and shook it from side to side to get the toner inside more leveled out. After carefully replacing the toner cartridge in the printer, ensuring that I did not tilt it sideways, I ran another test print page. This time the print was perfect.It would have been nice if there was a tips and tricks/cheat sheet provided with the toner cartridges but hopefully others will find this review helpful and avoid the same headaches I encountered.

Toner cartridges were seemingly empty or nearly empty when installed. As soon as I installed the first cartridge it told me "toner low". I thought that was odd but figured it was a mistake and would correct itself eventually. I printed out a small amount of documentation before it told me my toner was out. I then installed the second cartridge and the printer said "no toner" and I could not print a single document. Bought a toner cartridge from Brother and installed it and immediately the "no toner" notification was gone and I was able to print again. Of course I missed the return window. I will only trust the manufacturer toner cartridges from now on. You get what you pay for.
