These turbie hair towels are awesome!! The towels are each individually packaged in pretty netting - I used these for stocking stuffers. At first my teen and young adult girls were unsure - these look so "retro". All it took was using them once for all of them to tell me these are GREAT. I use these too and what an improvement over wrapping my hair in a big obnoxious towel that keeps flopping down - and - they aren't microfiber! For me that's a big plus. I like microfiber - but not on my hair.Absorbency is average - and THAT'S OKAY!! Does soak up a lot of water, but I wouldn't say my hair is super dry.Previously I was using a microfiber head wrap and it drew so much water from my hair, and the conditioner too, that my hair wasn't as easy to style. These cotton turbie towels are perfect! And they're so cute, too.So easy to use - put the cap part on, twist the longer part in the front and tuck it into the loop at the back. Wet hair is tucked away, the towel is lightweight and stays put - and looks cute, too! I keep mine on while getting dressed and putting on my makeup. Hang it up to dry and it's ready to use the next time.Definitely recommend!!

I bought these 15 years ago still have them, and have been unable to find terry cloth in the stores, they are usually made out of microfiber. I was thrilled to find these online, and gave them as part of a gift at my bachelorette party. They were a huge hit everyone loves them and believe it or not many of the girls never had these. I will be ordering more for myself and try to part with my 15 year old ones. I take these everywhere with me, travel or weekend getaways. I hate having a big towel on my head. I’m not a fan of the microfiber fabric. These are outstanding and they come in a cute little sheer bag great for gifting.

I have the Turbie Twist that I purchased in 1992. It is of a higher quality toweling than this one. Also, the original one had a corded loop and a button on the other end to pull through it. The elastic is already fraying. I am going to add a cord loop and button to make it easier to secure. This one is better than microfiber one that I bought a few years ago. I don't expect this one to last nearly 30 years.

These are the real deal! I have been using Turbie Twists for years. When my original one started to wear out, I purchased another and also received one as a gift. I was disappointed to find that these two newer ones, while calling themselves "original," were made out of microfiber and not the cotton I loved. The microfiber ones were a bit smaller and far less absorbent than my cotton one. Recently, I attempted to find the cotton Turbie Twist once more. I was not disappointed with these! Not only are they cotton, but these are made of a thicker terry than my first. They are almost spa quality. They are long and fluffy and exceeded my expectations. They absorb well and stay in place on my head. The icing on the cake for me, was the fact that they come in adorable colors and patterns and each one arrived in its own little cloth bag that was tied with a pretty pink bow. If you are looking for the REAL Original Cotton Turbie Twist, look no further. These would also make great gifts!

Turbie twists are a great invention, which anyone who has ever used one knows, and I had always been perfectly happy with my plain white cotton one which has lasted for years. It has however, become discolored from hair dye. I wanted to get a new turbie in a color for me, and thought it would be a nice touch to get some for guests too. After reading multiple reviews, it seems that folks were not always as happy with the microfiber version so I decided to stick with cotton, though the patterns did not look as jazzy. This 4 pack was reasonably priced, the real deal, individually packaged in nice net sacks, and, best of all, had colors and patterns that were prettier in person than it appeared online. Very happy with this purchase!

I like these...and they are pink! :) They do help with my long, wild, wacky, thick curly hair, too. My hair can stay wet for 24 hours and this has helped reduce the drying time and I love that they are light and not top heavy like when you use a regular towel. I simply squeeze out my hair as best as I can and wrap it up, then leave it for as long as I want to. I usually leave it while I dress, do my make-up and sometimes sit and sip a coffee, too, and it stays solid and secure the entire time. I also use one of these over a shower cap for deep conditioning, often for several hours and it works equally as well. I even used one for an overnight conditioning and woke in the morning to it still being secure...granted I am not an acrobat during sleep but I do toss and turn some. I wish I had bought these a lot sooner!

I’ve used this type of hair towels for years now, I can’t imagine why anyone would use a big bulky towel…when these are shaped perfectly and are an eighth of the size of a bath towel. But be careful, not all Turbie Twist towels are of the same quality! Some are very thin cotton and I do not like the micro fiber hair towels, that might be a personal preference, but there you go. All that being said….this pack of 4 Turbe Twist Cotton Hair Towels are the best I’ve found! They are made with thick 100% cotton and generously sized for eventual shrinkage. The colors are bright and fun! In the past I’ve noticed that the colors on these towels fade quickly, I hope that isn’t the case here – but even if, these are still great Turbie Twist! Highly recommend!
