Ryo Root:Gen Hair Strength Shampoo For Women (Old Version)

I've been using Ryo shampoos and treatments for almost a year. This is the best one I've tried so far! My hair is hip length, fine, and curly (mixed curl type). It tends to be dry and frizzy. The Ryo Root Gen line cleaned my hair gently, and left it feeling soft and healthy. And the scent! Makes me feel so special. I'll update this review if anything changes, but I expect only good things :)

I believe it has thickened up my hair, but I really like the feel it gives to my hair. I get a light ginseng smell from this shampoo which I really like, too. I definitely will keep it in my daily routine! Additionally, a little goes a long way, so I don't think the price is unreasonable.

I usually love Ryo hair care, but this particularly one had me losing a ton of hair every wash in the shower. It stopped as soon as I switched to a different shampoo.

As a woman with very fine, thinning hair, Ryo's Root:Gen hair strength shampoo appealed to me immediately. I ordered this shampoo in the hopes that it wouldn't be too harsh on my hair and would possibly cut down on the hair shedding/breakage I experience often. I used this shampoo every 2 days for about a month. I don't notice a huge difference in my hair, but I have seen improvement overall. Namely, this shampoo leaves my hair feeling softer and less dry than other shampoos I have tried. And it does seem I experience less breakage when washing. My hair is not noticeably thicker, but it does seem healthier. I also enjoy the light fragrance this has; it is an herbal scent, not flowery or cloying and definitely a unisex type of scent. Overall while I enjoyed using this shampoo, I'm not sure if my budget would allow me to use this regularly, but I would probably purchase to alternate use with a lower cost shampoo from time to time.

Shampoo makes my scalp tingle. Feels good. Still losing hair but I have noticed an improvement. Getting better. 2 weeks in.

So so so freaking good!!!! It works amazing on my asian hair. Really adds volume and a nice healthy shine.

Really does help with the roots, making hair stronger.
