I'll be honest, this had 5 stars until the page with the 'my sister likes playing tricks on me' which my 4 year old daughter had not quite twigged she could do this to her toddler aged sister yet and has led me to threaten to glue the page together :( I could have got a page on 'falling out' but still caring and loving each other or something along those lines as this is probably more of a common behaviour in siblings especially with two girls.Other than this it's a lovely book finding the good things about having a sister from standing up for each other, having things in common, being a role model and a source of inspiration and wisdom, using the Mr Men ( and Little Miss) characters in order to illustrate these points, (though they aren't named just illustrated so if your knowledge doesn't extend to the little miss collection then you may be a little stuffed when your daughter points and asks 'who's that?')Taking out the tricking inspiration this was actually a lovely bonding experience with my older daughter saying which were like her and which were like her little sister (my heart glowed when she said her little sister was Little Miss Sunshine) and she thought it a really lovely book... I just want to glue the tricking page together.

As with all of the Mr Men books this is a brightly coloured, happy go lucky story.It is an ideal story to encourage imagination and discussion at an early age and contains lots of words such as "excited", "clever", "brave", "trouble", "famous" which can be talked about and added to a young person's vocabulary. The picture of Little Miss Sunshine describing my sister having a big smile is very apt and throughout the book there are different Mr Men and Little Miss characters to find and name.The book comes with a section to personalise with facts about a real life sister which can be kept in a memory box.The book also has "To" and "From" inside the front cover which is a nice personal touch and makes it idle to be gifted to a young person, sibling or parents who may be reading it with a younger person or child.

Excellent present, beautiful pictures and hidden messages. Prefect for new baby too grow into reading and understanding emotions in the future.
