I bought this Black Panther night light for my grandson’s bedroom. It was easy to assemble, with only 2-pieces to put together and good quality. It has a remote control, so you can charge the color too whatever you like! He loves that it bright enough for room and I think it’s a great price and makes a perfect gift!

Love love love this light! So easy to set up and fun to use. The remote is wonderful with sixteen color choices. I would highly recommend it for a child's nightlight.

My son absolutely loves this. He sleeps with it every night and loves that it comes with a remote to change colors!

IT'S NOT WORKING

Using it for a backlight/nightlight. The artwork is absolutely wonderful. The power/control button on the top of the device is a little touch sensitive but can be used to turn the device on & off & select the color & brightness level. With the remote you do that a lot easier, mix colors & select the different lighting effects (Flash, Stobe, Fade, Smooth). The USB port is the older, USB Micro-B connector. same as older Android phone and many tablets. So, it's pretty easy to find a charger adapter & a longer power cord if needed. It was a little messy getting the protective paper to peel off the clear/engraved artwork, the hand especialy, my pro tip - start peeling the protective paper off the top. Fitting the artwork piece into the base, it was really, really tight. You have to be sure it's lined up just perfectly and even then it was very tight. Actually, that's good because you never have to take it out again and you don't need to worry about it falling out. What I didn't like.. First, it really isn't very bright at all. I have another, very similar unit and that one is much brighter. Not the end of the world, but may be a tradeoff between this artwork and another unit if you want a brighter one. In a lot of bedrooms and especially at night, this had enough light and works well. But, in a larger or brighter room or even during the day, it's not as bright as I'd like it to be. Second, because I have very similar unit, I selected this one because both the unit & remote looked identical. But, my existing remote doesn't work right, some of the buttons do things, but not the same thing. So, that's really only something if you already have a similar unit and were trying to avoid getting another remote.

Don't worry if you lose the remote, as there's a super secret power button on the base with which you can turn the light on and control which color is featured. I did have one issue with this lamp, and it involved the remote and the directions. I read them over twice, and I couldn't find anything that said whether batteries were included or not. It only told me that the remote needed a 3V battery. When I tried to open the tiny latch on the device to check on the battery, I struggled with it. The battery cover involves pinching a tiny trigger while pulling simultaneously. For someone who's got carpal tunnel and arthritis, like me, it was difficult to open. Tweezers or a more adept friend with super powers may be required!
