Purchased this for my lazy teenager who insists he never needs a coat. He says it's because he doesn't have time to go to his locker, but let's face it he just doesn't want to take the 2 seconds to take it off and hang it up because he's lazy. The coat fits very well and the quality and durability is worth the cost. It's stylish so he doesn't feel like the lower teenager who's mom made him wear a coat to school, which is so important when you are a sophomore in high school. The zipper is high quality so that when he's angrily zipping it up because I have the nerve to make him put it on because it's 20 degrees outside and I don't want to explain the situation to children's services it zips smoothly with no snags! The best part is that it's compact! So when he gets to school he can skip that whole pesky locker situation and jam it into the bottom of his bookbag so that he can tell me he forgot where he put it the next day. It's this crazy little game of hide and seek with his coat he likes to play. Little stinker!

I ordered a medium size and fits right. I have tried almost all brands and types of puffers, this is my go to and my favorite. It is light and not puffy, and warm. and looks really really good. I chose the green and black color. I am gonna ask Hurley to mame their LOGO smaller coz it stands out too much. Dont make the logo any bigger than columbia's which is the right size.. also make the logo kind of faded out instead of white. That should close the dea and make more sales. I stufied fine arts and product marketing in at Wharton, I know these thing.

I have never owned a puffer jacket before and love the Hurley brand. I prefer to buy Men's jackets bc they tend to have more features that I like. I love how deep the zipper pocket on the chest is,I put my house key and credit card there for quick access. There's a couple down sides to the jacket but I'm not going to take any stars off bc it's preference...I wish the Side pockets had zippers... they are deep so I'm not worried about my keys or phone slipping out but I just prefer zippers. The hood doesn't have a drawstring which is fine for me bc I'm not someone who uses the hood. The zipper on the chest pocket should really be the same style as the main jacket zipper bc it keeps getting stuck on the protective flap when you go to zip or unzip the pocket. There's no elastic around the sleeves but also no cheap binding around them to close the hem, which if you prefer to wear layers that's fine. I like the length. I'm 5'6" and it covers the top part of my butt without feeling restricted when I sit down. I live in Wisconsin and I have worn a fleece jacket under it and found I was too warm, so it will definitely keep you warm. The fabric is not breathable so it does a good job at blocking wind too.

This jacket is one of my favorite that I've ever own. I bought it to use as a midlayer to summit Mt. Kilimanjaro, and it performed amazingly, absolutely a lifesaver. It was more windproof than my REI rainjacket, very comfortable, and lightweight. It's pretty easy to stuff into it's pocket, although it's a bit bigger than expected. However it's a feature not a flaw, because it's makes a decent impromptu pillow for camping trips or in the airport.I knocked off a star because after about 6 or 7 months of consistent use and washing, it has lost a lot of insulation from the stuffing being compacted, although that may have been due to my poor care of it. It also doesn't fit as well as it used to, but it still is one of my favorite jackets, and I continue to use it on a weekly basis and in camping trips. I definitely would recommend this jacket, it's awesome.

Was expecting a "puffier" jacket, but it was actually rather slender - think jacket more than coat. Looks good, though, and seems to be of solid quality.

Really like this jacket as it is light weight, simple, easy to clean, and durable. It is not really puffy and that's how I like these types of jackets.
