The brushes are comfortable to hold, feel well made and durable, and are easy to clean. The amount and kinds of bristles is thoughtful as well, making fine lines and detailed effects easy to achieve. I love the carrying case as well, and the labels and plastic drying area are very useful. I'm glad I've started my art interest with these brushes. These brushes were perfect, also very nice extra, came with a zip cases to store them in. I searched and searched for small enough detail brushes for me to paint a paint by number canvas painting! The brushes that came with the canvas and paint just were not doing it. I came across these, and so glad I purchased! The functionality of these brushes lets me get in every little detail. The comfort of the base is also very nice wood type not slippery and you can get the right hold to it. If you are searching for brushes to do very fine detail work these are it!

The quality is impeccable, ( though I would advise thoroughly caring for your brushes pending each paint session to extend their life span.) Believe me, these are worth the time. The ergonomic wooden handles, each with different shape and length allows for precisely the technique I hope to achieve with all every inch of the canvas. The liners are stiff and thin, the larger rounders fluffy, yet tough bristle wise. No limp or stray bristles, (granted they get properly cleaned. They case is beautiful & so detailed itself! This makes these brushes so easy to use!A special technique I use to help me clean my brushes while I'm painting:Boil some water for about 5 or 6 min- with use an instant tea pot or microwave, (to each their own,) then add water to porcelain or strong coffee or tea mug- (anything that won't melt) and add just about 10 good drops of Dawn Dish Soap.This will help keep your brushe's shape and remove the acrylic residue along the way. Once the water gets cold, repeat!Also incest in some paint thinner/ brush cleaner.
