Microplanegrater Premium fine grater / Zester, colour: hot pink

There is a reason certain chefs, TV cooks, and cookbook writers use a Microplane grater.Easy to use, makes zesting an absolute doddle, great on grating fresh ginger, and copes with chocolate perfectly.I am confused with Amazon asking for a star rating for versatility. Eh? It isn't a Swiss Army Knife, it's a grater (there are limits).Lastly, love the bright, bold, red colour; which goes perfectly with my (accents of pink and red) kitchen and me camper van's kitchenette.Two purchased, two cooking areas to make healthy food that will hopefully keep me alive. How's that for cooking confidence?

I wasn't sure if I needed a Microplane, but I saw it everywhere, so I thought I'll try; I love good kitchen tools. It's incomparable to any other graters. So, much, better. So effortless to grate. You don't need to force the whatever you grate against the grater, just shreds.A versatile tool, good for grating, zesting and mincing (garlic or ginger). Fairly comfortable to hold, although the handle, for my smaller hands, is just a little bit thick.The result will be much finer than on an average grater, to bare in mind. Hard cheese is like some snowflake stands, grates much thinner, light strands. I do like this, though. More like shaving than grating, if that makes sense.Cleaning isn't straightforward, though; cleaning inside the folded sides is a bit difficult.

This is a really good microplane. Really good. Previous to this I wasted money on two other models, which although were not bad, weren't really all that great (or should that be grate!).Sure, It is expensive, but the old adage applies here; you get what you pay for.

Great for Zesting and grating ginger etc

Bought for my wife who has problems with her grip. She was sceptical at first but was pleased with its ease of use, grip and cleaning.

Love this little zester, very easy to use

Easy and efficient especially with Parmesan. With a little practice it cleans better than other graters I’ve used..

This is a really well designed kitchen gadget. It makes grating citrus rind easy, and gathers the grated zest inside ready for use.

I can hardly believe how perfect this is!!the yellow part is silicone I think (not hard plastic as I was envisioning), it’s so easy to clean and easy to use and makes me want to zest instead of just forgetting about it because I’m picturing myself cutting my hand on a grater or having to clean out the fibers of fruit skin. The design of this is perfect.

Ne cherchez plus, c'est le meilleur.Prélève exactement ce qu'il faut de zeste, sans effort et en le recueillant dans le petit réservoir.

Appena consegnata ho voluto subito testarla. Il mio utilizzo è solo per gli agrumi. È maneggevole, grattugia molto bene e può essere lavata in lavastoviglie.
