A bit flimsy
Both myself and my husband make cards, only for each other and family members. Sometimes they can be unconventional sizes so we needed different sized envelopes. These serve a purpose for handing a card over in person but they are quite flimsy and not sure if they'd weather postal delivery especially on a wet day.

Too thin
Too thin and flimsy - would be fine for a single sheet or 2 of paper but I would buy thicker envelopes for anything more. The strip for sealing is handy though.
