Before getting my 2019 Silverado, I did a good bit of research. Apparently, an EPA mandate created this tube that funnels exhaust air back into the intake of the cylinder. In that exhaust air is going to be a certain amount of engine oil, and over time, that oil can accumulate and gunk up the top of the cylinder. K&N is, of course, a quality brand, and I use their oil filters, already. Theirs was mid priced, and I trust the brand. The instructions were very clear, and there are lots of videos out there about the installation process. Took a few minutes to put together, and comes with everything you need, except a couple of common tools. Is very solid, and feels solid. Looked really nice with the engraved K&N logo, which doubled as a guide to know you are installing it correctly. Old lines come off by hand and new pop into place with no leaks. Didn’t hear the air sound other guys had mentioned with other brands. Now, just have to empty the can when I do regular oil changes. This is a simple mod for your GM vehicle to help insure that you will get many more miles of clean performance.

Great value for the money and doesn't take up a lot of space under the hood and instructions explain everything even though I didn't need them it was extremely easy to install and works very well and collects the bad blowby oil like its supposed to and looks good under the hood and is a great size and has very good durability.

Great product! Went on easy! Two things for others - this can fits 2024-2026 Silverado1500 not just through 2019-2023. Also, with regard to installation, proper mounting requires the top of the catch can engraved with K&N to face the front of the truck. The driver side fitting is the filter side (long tube) and the passenger side fitting is the open side (short tube) of the top of the can. The fittings need tape and should only be screwed in about 1/2 way ultimately stopping when they are facing horizontal and toward the front of the truck not super snug but that’s all that is necessary as the tubing is firm and prevents any movement once installed. K&N should make the enclosed instructions a little more clear. Watched a lot of YouTube videos regarding different cans and this can for the money made the most sense because of its size and build quality. Evil for half the price was tempting, but a name brand with bigger can for my truck with a 6.2L seemed to be the best choice. J&L $30 more expensive and less capacity with same USA build quality. There is a great video on YouTube for installation help if you own a Silverado. K&N the clear winner for me.

I installed it yesterday on my 2019 Sierra Denali 1500 with 6.2 liter engine. I had to drill and slot a new hole in the mounting bracket to get it to fit behind the coolant reservoir. Roughly 3/8" lower half inch slot width. Wouldn't fit otherwise. The hoses and canister are well made.

Really impressed with this, especially for the price. Includes some parts and thoughtful layout that makes for a very easy and clean installation. Has already caught a ton of oil that would have been headed straight for my intake. 10/10 would recommend.

Directions 100% backwards. The can needs to be on the dirty air side. The passenger side. K&N is literally destroying people’s engines.

Saves your engine on the long run, fits Silverado TB 2021 perfectly.

Bought for my 2025 Silverado 1500 5.3, it fits! Even though this kit isn’t supposed to be compatible with this year. I did trim a part of the coolant overflow so the hose would clear but I could have just changed the orientation. Great build quality and attractive look.

does not feel cheap and holds more oil than the off brand ones. only thing i would do right away just like the other reviewer said. Is to open up the filter and remove the sponge and replace it with stainless steel wool and you're good to go!
