The insulation is extremely thick on these. The actual cable inside is more like a 6 - 8 gauge, far from 2 gauge. Ran them to my winch and the insulation almost caught fire, it got so hot. DO NOT BUY THESE

Cables are not 2 gauge wire as advertised. It is only 8 gauge wire with thick insulation. I returned mine and bought a 100% copper wire set from another company. There is a reason they are cheap. You get what you pay for.
