I score that as an unforced AI failure, not a blemish on the product. The tool itself looks to be robust and perfect for the job. The particular one that I received was clearly a returned item. There is a coffee stain on the back cover of the manual, but the tool itself looks like new.

Nice quality feel pliers. They are compatible up to 10 mm2. On my item the max opening in the jaws is around 5.8 mm. Ferrules for 16mm2 are usually around 6.2 mm => they don't fit. 2x10mm2 twin ferrules are around 6.8 mm so they definitely won't fit.
