Philips Norelco OneBlade Intimate Trimmer and Shaver with Skin Protection

After multiple uses, I can confidently say this trimmer has not nicked or cut me once. It has a slightly slower motor compared to other trimmers, which helps prevent hair from being pulled. I was very impressed with this, and compared to other shavers and trimmers I’ve used, this one really stands out. When I use it, I don’t have to worry about hurting myself. EASE OF USE The small, slim, and simple design makes it very easy to maneuver. It’s comfortable to hold and the flexible 360 blade makes shaving much easier, especially in harder-to-reach areas. FUNCTIONALITY Some people might see this as a downside, but I actually consider it a benefit. Because the motor runs a bit slower, you may have to go over certain areas more than once to get all the hair. However, this is exactly what helps reduce the risk of cuts. Personally, I’d much rather spend a little more time shaving if it means avoiding injuries. CON’S BATTERY The battery is the only downside I’ve noticed. After one full use, I usually need to charge it again, and shaving body hair can take some time. That said, considering the compact size of the device, this is somewhat expected. As long as you remember to put it on the charger after using it, you shouldn’t have any issues. REPLACEMENT BLADES. The replacement blades are a bit expensive, so that’s something to keep in mind. Philips recommends replacing the blade every 4 months, but this really depends on how often you shave and how much you use the trimmer. Consideration I didn’t list this as a pro or a con because it depends on your situation. Some people choose to purchase the skin-protect blade separately instead of buying the entire trimmer. You can attach the blade to a compatible Philips Norelco OneBlade handle you may already own. However, keep in mind that the motor included with the Intimate version is intentionally slower to help prevent cuts. I was in the same situation since I already had a compatible trimmer, but I decided to buy this version specifically because it is designed to be safer. Ultimately, the choice depends on your personal preference. Overall Overall, I’m very impressed with the Philips Norelco OneBlade Intimate. This razor surprised me. I've struggled with finding something that could effectively shave my pubic area without leaving ugly razer bumps and ingrowns. I've tried the expensive 5 blade razors and the one blade options. None of them work for me. The only thing that works is waxing, but I don't have the time to go get a wax everytime I want to be hair free. Well, this changed things for me. I use it and it leaves no bumps. I get a clean shave, it's pain free, nick free and quite durable. Also the battery lasts very long. It does make noise (obviously it's electric) but nothing that is too loud or annoying. It's relatively fine imo. Overall a great product that works well for me and my skin.

A gift for my wife ,and her comments were ....... Absolutely loves it , works fabulous. Does a great job , no nicks , cuts, and smooth cut. Might be a little pricey at $30 bucks, but when something works its worth it.

I was very satisfied with the Philips Norelco OneBlade Intimate. It provided a close shave without causing any nicks or cuts. This was my biggest concern when grooming the sensitive areas. The guard attachment also made it easier to get the longer hairs first then take it off to attack the rest. Love it. I don’t have to be careful with this even on thin, wrinkled skin. It’s a close buzz but long enough to skip the itchy stubble phase. So far it has been ideal for laser hair removal prep. I was told to shave (with a normal shaving razor) two days before treatment but I’m not comfortable doing that. They want you to have some stubble and so I’ve been able to use this the night before (or morning of) and its worked great.

Wow! I rarely give one star reviews but this thing is awful. If you have an older one or one of the bigger models, keep it and just buy the new style blade if you need one. The blade works great but the shaver handle/motor is an utter failure. I have one of the original shavers and it’s gettin a little long in the tooth so I saw this one and ordered it, thinking that maybe with battery tech allowed it to be smaller. Nope, just a weaker motor. There is no comparison. The old one is powerful enough the power through a full beard with little difficulty. Not as fast as a corded trimmer but still impressive given its size. The new is super weak. You have to go considerably slower than the older model. There is no excuse for this while the cost of the shaver is reasonable enough the blades are not cheap. If I just bought this, without already owning one, I’d throw this in the trash and never buy a Norelco product again. As it is I’m past the return window and do like the blade so I’ll keep it as a backup for when I’m charging the older one. The blade however is pretty good. It trims the nether regions quite nicely without the nicks the old tended to give. I don’t think it’s quite as close a shave but I think that’s to be expected. I’m very disappointed in Norelco concerning the power of this model. This should have never been released. This really is a black eye for Norelco’s product quality. They had to know how much weaker this was compared to the original model and made the decision to sell it anyway. It takes forever ever to trim anything but 1 day old stubble and tends to pull if you go too fast.

This shaver is fantastic. It is safe, quick, thorough, rechargeable, ergonomic, smooth. You're going to be blown away like me. I use it down there, between the cheeks, and up on my armpits, chest. Great bang for your buck!

However, it just doesn't provide a close shave. Even after going over the same area several times, there was still noticeable stubble left behind. If you're looking for a clean, smooth shave, this probably isn't the best choice. It's okay for basic grooming, but it didn't perform as well as I expected.
