The instructions were fairly simple to follow as long as you have a little common sense. Take your time and don’t tighten everything down until the fit is checked. It took a couple of hours from unboxing to completion. A second pair of hands is helpful. It came with all hardware and has floor levelers. Make no mistake, this is a steel box that you assemble. It is not a high end safe with welded seams. It should slow down a thief if secured to a wall. It should prevent a child from access. It was what I expected to getand the description is pretty accurate. The shelf can be inserted or removed after full assembly.
