This set of sanding blocks enabled me to replace the mortar and threshold for my daughter's front door. The set clearly indicates the "grit" of each block and they work very well for donit yourselfers without a more elaborate collection of sanding tools. We had just move near my daughter and many of my tools remained behind or were sold. These babies worked perfectly and I can strongly recommend them!

I got these because I was repainting my front door. They worked just fine on the bare wood, wood filler, and painted surfaces. I found that they are thinner than the sanding blocks I used in the past, and they were a little harder to hold onto. Full disclosure - I have rheumatoid arthritis, so holding them may be a problem for me. but not for others. The point is, it's a simple sanding block and it works fine.

They last a very long time. Good purchase.
