Nice compact kit.

Needed a compact pistol cleaning kit for the range. I added some CLP in a small bottle and this works well. Just throw it in my range bag and go.

Perfect little case to take to the range. Everything i need to clean my pistol in a small, durable case. A+++++

I've got a few of these kits (one for pistol, one for rifle, one for shotgun), and they work well to keep in my range bag. I've taken them all out of the cases and have them separated in a Molle admin pouch attached to my bag, so the pouches aren't useful to me, but they do keep everything nice and organized if you wish to use them. The brushes and rod are decent enough...not the highest quality, but not terrible. The jags and slotted patch holders are plastic...I prefer brass, but these have held up fine for field cleanings, which is all I use these kits for. I run a brush and a few patches down the barrel at the range and then do a thorough cleaning with a different kit when I get home or later in the week. For the price I really can't complain. Although none of the components are the best out there, they've all held up to multiple cleanings, and for the price, I don't really expect them to be the best. I'll never replace my Otis brushes for a good deep clean, but these are perfect for a quick pass during a field cleaning.

There's enough in this kit to do a very serviceable job of field-cleaning a pistol, and I have used it a number of times after a shooting session when I wasn't going straight home and didn't want to leave a fouled pistol in the range bag for the rest of the day or weekend. It has everything you need with some room left over for a small bottle of CLP. Definitely recommended.

I spent a long time reading Amazon reviews of cleaning kits before buying one, and I'm certainly glad I purchased this one. The pieces are sturdy for the price you are paying and it has just about everything you need other than lots of patches, solvent, and some oil :-). I like how everything is packaged in the case, as it is easy to take with you on the go. My dad has the big wooden Hoppes cleaning kit, and I personally would prefer this one over it after using both. I have used to to clean .380, .38 Special, and .45 caliber handguns.

Nice basic kit that I keep in my range bag. Compact and durable. Would recommend it. The rifle kit is also good.
