Laser measuring has certainly come a long way in a few short years. I had a brand-name laser measurer about 8 years ago that was so chronically inaccurate, I threw it away. Seeing how affordable this unit was, I had doubts, but so far, I am thoroughly impressed. It couldn't be more simple to use - all of the measuring modes give clues on screen. The accuracy is the most impressive part - I've repeated multiple measurements, over 100 feet, and compared to physically measuring with a tape, and this thing is dead-on accurate every time. The green laser makes it much easier to see - in daylight, I have no problem seeing it at 100 feet or more. If I'd know these things were so reliable now, I would have switched much sooner.

Great laser meter, it works perfect at night or at places with low light. When working during the day, it's difficult to find the green light that indicates the distance.It's very accurate for straight distance. When trying to use the Pythagoras function, it's good and easy to use. The only con I found is the material quality, is made out of plastic, maybe a little fall may crack it.

Where has this been all my life?! Works great for measuring a room, but also works perfect for measuring the tread on my uneven old house stairs! Also wall to wall and you don’t have to bend a tape measure around a corner. And rather than convert 23.317 inches to a fraction, I use the laser to adjust distance on my table saw or miter saw from blade to fence and make it match my wall, etc reading. Who cares what the number is as long as it’s the same!

I work as a real estate appraiser in Florida. Red lasers are a pain to see in sunny conditions. Green lasers have been a blessing.I like this laser measure in particular because it has bubble levels in addition to the digital one. I'm old school and wanted the bubble, but after a while I got used to using the digital level. When measuring long distances it's important to be level.The addition and subtraction feature is good too for when I'm measuring a wall but there are obstructions in the way. I don't use the area functionalities, it's not necessary for my job.The measure button is easy to press, which is nice. On some other laser measures this button is hard to push, which can be a pain when holding the measure in awkward positions.

it works well, but i could not measure anything beyond 40 feet. It probably needs to be very stable, and less ambient light, but i do not see it measuring 266ft as listed. 40 ft works for almost anything typical

If you want to simply and accurately measure distances, this is the tool for you. I had previously purchased the Huepar S 60 Green laser measurement tool and it has so many features that performing simple measurements in feet and inches was a challenge. This tool doesn't have a gazillion features and that's good as I am not a trigonometry major! Green laser is so much better than red, so it has the latest technology and is very accurate. I used it to measure an outdoor patio in the afternoon sun and it was powerful enough to be functional and accurate. Look no further - great value!
