This is it for us. Excellent solution for a fair price. Bought two of these mounts to replace older, bulkier and quite unappealing plastic brackets. It's not that these mounts are of captivating beauty but they don't use much plastic and hence most of the mount in concealed when put in place. We got a reasonably high-end car and it always annoys me how cheap devices ruin the overall car aesthetics. We had no trouble fitting the brackets on the smaller side of 2 recent iPads and the mount fits neatly between the head rest. The adjustable ball mount then allows for some tilting / adjustment. The other major benefit of this simple solution is that it is quite small and can be taken apart - which makes them ideal for bringing along when we hire cars abroad; it comes in a 18cm x 9 cm x 4 cm box but you could almost fit two of these mounts in such at box, so it consumes relatively little luggage space. And you can use them as an - less elegant - upright table stand when travelling.

My baby daughter hated car journeys with a passion and would scream the entire time unless someone was in the back with her, and even that didn't guarantee a quiet journey. This obviously isn't ideal given I'm on mat leave and often it's only me and her in the car. I bought this tablet holder so she can watch dancing fruit and straight away we had no more tears in the car! Feels sturdy, easy to use and will work for tablets or phones.

You know what!?!?! I've been looking everywhere for a tablet mount that stays in place when you actually start driving. If I haven't had enough of reaching round to straighten the other mounts I've had previously for the kids when I set off over a speed bump... My word!!! Well this one is a dream. Easy to install and once in and tightened in the correct position for your little one or the dog (you never know...) It actually stays in that same position wherever you go, hallelujah!!! Now granted I'm no rally driver and most of the roads I drift on are flat but none the less this unit is in the same position when I get to B from A.. the best part is that I still have full use of my neck because I haven't had to reach over the back 50 times to reposition the tablet. Long story short, great product, cheap price, kids (or dog 🐕) happy = me happy!!!
