I loved the range in size. The tiny ones proved to be very useful when mixing solutions in small amber bottles. All of the magnetic stirring bars work well and fit our needs. I initially wanted at least one long bar, but am glad for the sizes that were included in the set as I can mix and match to fit my needs. I definitely recommend this product if you find that you're in need as it arrived rather quickly. Storage and clean up are a breeze! With more time, I can provide an update on the durability of the stirring bars as we haven't had them to use for an entire week.

For the price I expected these to be less-than-top quality, but I'm pleasantly surprised. The surfaces are smooth and consistent, and the magnets are strong, and couple well with my magnetic stirrer. I probably wouldn't use them in an industrial lab environment with non-aqueous solvents, but for my mild and dilute aqueous solutions, used for only a few minutes per week, they work perfectly.

I ordered this 10-piece set of PTFE magnetic stir bars, and let me tell you, I give it four out of five stars. Why? Because some of these stir bars are so small, they make me wonder what kind of science experiment involves mixing atoms! I admit, I didn’t really know what size I needed for my setup, so I went with the multi-pack. It’s like ordering the sampler platter at a restaurant—you’re bound to get something you didn’t know you didn’t want. The stir bars work fine, but the ones below 12mm? I don’t know what they’re for, unless you’re trying to stir a droplet of water. These tiny guys are so small, they just stick to the bottom of the vial like they’re on vacation, sunbathing instead of doing their job. They connect polarly and just spin around the bottom like a lazy Susan. I’m taking off one star because, really, what’s the point? So, if you need a reliable stir bar, these are solid. But unless you’re doing some micro-mixing, you might end up with a few that just sit there, taking up space. It’s not the bars’ fault; it’s mine for thinking I needed the whole variety pack. But hey, now I’ve got a set of science accessories for ants!

These are excellent stir bars for homebrew yeast starters! They are in good quality and I choose the suitable size one to get job done. My stir plate holds this bar strongly, the bar stays in place and make a great vortex while spinning. Also, the price for this set of 10 is also a nice deal. Definitely I would recommend these to my friends

These all work great no matter the size. But only thing I didn't like about these was the fact that they got stained after the first use. But the advertisement says they are corrosion and chemical resistant. So why would they get stained if they were? I was going to return them for a different set of stirrers I had in my cart. But decided to just keep them for now and test the whole pack to see if they all get stained like smaller ones in my pictures. I will update this review later.

The price is just about right. The bars all appear decently made, though the Teflon appears it may be just a bit porous. Can't yet say how they'll do in long service. The tiniest one is *really* tiny, I can't imagine ever using it. I used one of the midsize bars in a recrystallization already. Did its job. All considered, I see no reason to take away any stars.
