DC Motor Speed Controller (6-60V, 30A) PWM Adjustable with Start/Stop Switch for Motors

I was too lazy to work out the proper requirements and bought a smaller 5 amp PWM DC Motor Controller. Well it's safe to say I majorly underestimated the load and popped it. I was up against a deadline so I went for this. The motors were connected to some heavy flywheels so upon start they are pretty much stalling. I was using a 16.5 amp power supply and the motors were connected in series. This unit absolutely saved the day. It handled the current well and gave great control over the motors and connected flywheels. The RPM %age readout has been very useful during testing and allows you to test and maintain set conditions. The unit remained cool and operational throughout and I can't recommend highly enough. Worth noting you can NOT use a common ground between the input and motor output. Very Happy - thank you (tested with 12v, 16.5 amp supply, 12A load) - also the green switch can be disassembled to allow mounting without having to de-solder the pre-installed wires to the unit.

Good controller unit for my project application - used to control speed of a stepper motor. On-off button works fine and the pot works fine. Motor operates from 2% to 100% on the meter with smooth speed control in between. May buy again for other projects. Screw clamp terminals are very easy to use and it surface mounts into a steel sheet panel very neatly.

I used this for a mobility scooter brain. I ordered it as I got told it was great from a friend. One did come and wasn’t working, little disappointed as I couldn’t order a new one and felt out of pocket. Amazon refunded me straight away after sending it making me happy enough to try again as I had heard good reviews. New one arrived and it works 100% great. Well happy and seems put together well. Would recommend and buy again.

Being used to control cnc router spindles these are simple devices that are easy to use and install. Only one gripe in that the screw heads on the terminals are facing the wrong direction as they can not be accessed after fitting the panel. As that's pretty much a single operation when installing is not enough to mark it down. I have several, they are all great

Used for 5 minutes then it stopped working. Cannot drive a 36Vdc 800W motor and not burn out. Very disappointed.

you have to disassemble it to put it in the recess and you must fit the wire's before mounting. It does what it should do so 3 stars.
