My first bow ever and already hitting quarter-sized targets
I am a beginner, I've had the bow less than a month and have only shot it less than a dozen times. I honestly spent more time prepping the target/backstop and reading about shooting a bow than actually shooting the bow. :) If you practice everything you are told; T-Form, Anchor point, raise the rear-elbow, follow through on the pull, repeat with consistency and you'll be pleasantly surprised like I was. That's a 5-shot group with one flyer, all at a quarter-sized target from 25 ft. The bow is great, the arrows are great, the kit it comes are great, the price is also great! This is also just shooting without aiming, but instead practicing Instinctive Shooting with a split-finger pull back! I keep my eye on the target, slowly take a breathe as I pull and once I come to full draw at the end of my breath, I keep slightly pulling "pull-pull-pull" until the arrow just leaves my fingers and continue pulling back and the arrows all hit where I was looking. The target was big, so I switched to a smaller target and actually got a tighter group, aim small miss small. Fun, light-weight, very quality and durable as well and the performance in such a short amount of time seem unmatched! It also looks great, like a work of art!

You will love the price and performance of this bow!
I'm new to archery and I purchased this bow totally on a whim. I figured for the price it was worth a try. The set comes with a good assortment of gear for the new archer and what you see in the picture is what you get. Once you get past stringing the bow it's mainly just a learning process. The only item not included is nock points for the string. I ordered some brass crimp on type. I wasn't sure how to install the string silencers so I was forced to unstring the bow, install the silencers and re-string it. Some reviews state that the included string is low quality, but I found it was okay for getting started. I have since replaced that string with a D97 string which is a little quieter. The bow shoots great, especially at 20 yards. I wouldn't recommend trying to take down game at 50 yards, but at 20 it's solid. I don't think the bow is too loud, but some reviews complain about the noise. It has a bit of a thwump when you let the arrow fly. I opted for some different arrows --not because these were low quality-- but rather they were hard to find when they go sailing out through the woods. I would recommend getting a different quiver and the wrist guard is uncomfortable. The glove fits great and believe me you will need it. My main advice to anyone looking to use this product is be patient and get familiar with it before you give up and say this bow doesn't work. Recurve bow shooting is an art. I'm not an expert, but I am much better than I was when I started. For the cost you cannot go wrong with this product. I highly recommend it.

Everything Needed to Get Started in Archery at a Great Price - Salida's Eagle X9 Kit.
This is a Great Deal: Virtually Everything that you are going to need when starting out in Archery. In fact, I cannot think of a finer gift for any adult or mature teenager (boy or girl) than this kit. The kit includes all the beginner needs in the way of equipment and accessories. Fact is, I've been shooting bows for years and I still found much to like about this bow kit: The Chinese are Born-Again-Hard when it comes to Archery, and Sanlida is the proof. You WILL be Very Impressed with the quality of this take-down bow. This is NOT a toy, but a serious tool: If you have young children, this is NOT for them. Also, as great as this bow is, it's coming from China. As such, do not expect a lot of support. While the included Owner's Manual does include a brief introduction on proper shooting posture, the documentation available for the bow does not emphasize the steps needed to bring the bow up to full usability. For example: I shot the bow for days before realizing that I was not getting the most out of it. Why? I didn't know to Twist the Bow String enough times to achieve the proper Brace Height on the bow: Clearly....this was My Bad. But you won't find this info on Sanlida's website, and you cannot search for it either: The website does not support natural key-word search using English. Also, if you need detailed info on how to properly shoot the bow, you will not find it on the site. But I urge you to look past these minor issues, and consider the Quality of the bow itself -- You may not find a better bow and accessory package at this price. My advice is simply to buy this kit, and then use YouTube videos to train yourself in it's use. Product is highly recommended. An excellent value at this price point. Arrives with all needed equipment, but very little instruction. Serviceable and suitable for all adults (and older teens) given normal physical ability. Arrows (6) included are in the 550 or 600 spine range, four inch feathers. Knocking will vary.

This is my Hunting Bow, HANDS DOWN.
I honestly bought this bow because I had a lot of extra 55" strings. I didn't even need it. I have several other bows of different kinds and a few months ago I settled on barebow archery as my particular niche. That said, this purchase was a no-brainer. Out of the box the riser's finish is gorgeous and the wood is ultra light on the hand. The grip is smooth and doesn't need to be cushioned for the heavy draw at all. I didn't feel ANY stacking with a canted draw (low ceilings in my practice area) which is usually pretty common. And these cheap SF arrows I stripped and re-fletched with 3" feathers and weighted to 520 grains (avg) are absolute darts off the string. I can't recommend this bow enough, and after showing it to my father-in-law, he's looking for one in left-handed ๐ I've bought 30 or more "budget" bows in the past year and I've tried everything but trad bows and compounds. This is a clear Top -3 shoo-in. Maybe even top 2.

This bow shoots very good and ACURATE
This is a very good bow. I looked at a lot of bows, but this one really was the best for what I wanted in a bow. It is a good-looking bow that came with everything I wanted and needed. A friend of mine saw it, and He ordered one for himself.

The bow itself is a nice piece of work
The bow itself is very nice....powerful and accurate, but i had an issue with 1 of my limbs being warped, i had to return it unfortunately but i liked it enough to reorder the same kit....im a newbie and started with a 55 lb pull....everyone said noooo u cant start with that....but i dig it tell that to my grouping on day 2.....so i got my new kit, everything is fine execpt 1 thing....the string that came with it is not up to par, it looks brand new, but for some reason its like shedding and fraying, i thought it was animal fur at first until i realized what was happening...theres no way im returning it again that put me out of action for over a week, they said theyvwould give me 5 dollars off a 2 pack of strings which is 16 dollars......whatever im not going thru the return process again....and when i order more strings i didnt get theb5 bucks added to my irder, i dunno where it is, it didnt go on gift card
