POWEROWL Lithium Batteries AAA High Capacity Long Lasting, 1.5V Triple A Battery for High-Tech Devices - 8 Pack 【Non-Rechargeable】

Bought these lithium batteries for my fingerprint door lock last year and this year again. They lasted a full year before needing replacement. That’s honestly better than I expected considering the lock get numerous daily use. Reliable power, no random low-battery surprises, and performance stayed consistent the whole time. These are so worth it! For devices where convenience and reliability matter, these are faultless. 💯% recommend and would buy again!

I use these in wireless thermometers in freezers. Within the advertised temperatures, around 0-10F nowhere near the limits. Worked great out of the box they used to last for 3-4 months at least, however remainder of my batteries are now dying in matter of days after one year of buying, 10 year shelf life is definitely not true. Update: Customer support reached out after my initial review to make it right, updating my rating based on my last interaction.

My issue is that Amazon committed to delivery since they are on a monthly subscription and I didn't receive anything for over a week. That said The batteries appear to be good as described, and I would purchase them again and actually will since they are as I said on the subscription option.

These batteries work okay for awhile, but the seem to fail more quickly (and suddenly) than some other name brand Lithium batteries. I will NOT be buying any more of these.

I have been using Powerowl lithium batteries for several different applications. I have been very pleased with them.

1 - star, although I do have a cautionary note, not necessarily because of the product (POWEROWL Lithium Batteries AAA High Capacity Long Lasting, 1.5V Triple A Battery for High-Tech Devices - 8 Pack), but because the Amazon purchase experience led me to buying these NON-RECHARGEABLE disposable batteries, when I wanted to buy RECHARGEABLE batteries. The bad: 1) The cautionary note is that I noticed that the positive battery tip is smaller than what I thought was the standardized tip-size found on every AAA battery that I've seen/used before. This sizing discrepancy might cause contact issues in sloppily designed/built devices that count on a larger tip to make good contact. So, beware. 2) Regarding the purchase experience: a) After sorting by "Avg. customer review, these "Amazon Recommended" NON-RECHARGEABLE disposable batteries showed up at the top of my Amazon search results for "Rechargeable Li ion 1.5V AAA batteries". Note that my first search term was "Rechargeable". b) It's easy to overlook the one place, i.e., one photo, where it's noted that these batteries are actually non-rechargeable. (I found the photo when I was trying to figure out how I bought something I did not want.) It's not noted in the description anywhere I found that these batteries are disposable. To be honest, nor is it stated anywhere that they are rechargeable. So, my bad assuming, because I searched for rechargeable batteries, that the top battery in my search results, which was also "Amazon Recommended", would be rechargeable. c) Amazon conflates user reviews of multiple POWEROWL battery products, e.g. rechargeable and non-rechargeable and AA and AAA sizes, into the user reviews for this single product. d) Amazon review's Ideas suggestions for this product review laughably included the prompt "Why did you pick this product vs others?" and the phrase "Rechargeable battery". Note that I did respond to the prompt and used the suggested phrase, but I'm guessing, probably not in the manner intended. To be fair and balanced, on the plus side: 1) Next day delivery happened as promised. 2) The Amazon delivery person was friendly when we exchanged greetings as I was outside tossing a ball for the dog when he came by. 3) Packaging was in good shape. The batteries are shrink-wrapped in sets of four. The batteries all appear to be in good shape, no bulging, not leaking. 4) Two of these batteries are now in my Fire TV Cube's controller and they're working fine. We'll see how long they last. Conclusion: Even though I feel I overpaid for disposable batteries, it's not worth my time to try to get a $10 refund and order the rechargeable batteries that I originally wanted. Over the next few years, I'll throw eight (8) more disposable AAA batteries into my electronics recycling bin. When this supply is exhausted, I'll try again to act in a more ecologically responsible manner.

Update 5/6/26: The seller contacted me and sent me replacement batteries. Hopefully the new set performs better. Original review: I compared these directly to Voniko AAA alkaline batteries using my Wyze scale. The Voniko batteries lasted 4 months and 8 days, while these Powerowl batteries only lasted 2 months and 7 days under the same conditions. Based on that difference in lifespan and the big price gap, I wouldn’t purchase these again.

I purchased these "expensive" AAA size batteries to replace standard alkaline AAA size batteries I use on low discharge rate devices. Lower cost alkaline batteries work well for devices that you end up replacing the batteries as often as every 2 to 3 years like TV remote controls that are used fairly often. However, for devices that sit unused for extended periods like months or even years at a time, the concern with alkaline batteries is that they have the potential of leaking acid and possibly damaging the battery terminals or the device's printed computerized board (PCB) itself. Lithium batteries in general do NOT leak acid, so Lithium batteries generally do away with the battery acid leakage concern entirely. "Disposable" Lithium batteries in general have a slower self-discharge rate compared to "rechargeable" batteries, so there is still a market for disposable batteries, at least for now. 😀 POWEROWL enjoys a very positive reputation for both performance and longevity. My experience with all my disposable POWEROWL 9V/AA/AAA size batteries has been very positive so far.

These come highly rated from several sources so I expect good things. 10 years of storage with no leaks (supposedly) and the first thing I noticed is how much lighter these are than alkaline batteries.

I watched Project farm video about lithium batteries and one of the criteria for buying these was their alleged low temperature performance. I've put them into the temperature sensor in my freezer, at around -4°, but they lasted only a few weeks under those conditions. The sensor reports 100% charge and then they abruptly discharge over a course of a few days.

I watched a YouTube video of a fella testing all brand name batteries. This POWEROWL was the champ in nearly all categories, beating out the biggest brand names, and POWEROWL are the best price as well! I don’t typically leave battery reviews, but I think these will be my future purchases for Lithium, and Rechargeable's. (For reference, I have 40 years in the tech industry, with a nearly 30 in computer sciences, and own a smart home with 117 connected devices). Only POWEROWL from here on out!

Good set of batteries for my outdoor thermometer. They withstand cold Canadian winter temperatures.

I use disposable lithium-ion batteries a lot for Optics, Gen3 Night Vision Devices, and Active Hearing Protection a lot. I was using the Engergizer lithiums for a long while before i found these which were way too expensive for a disposable battery. I have almost completely switched to power owl lithiums because of the price, quality, and ease of purchase. Highly Recommended, especially over the Energizers.
