Consistent long-term performance. So worth it!
Bought these lithium batteries for my fingerprint door lock last year and this year again. They lasted a full year before needing replacement. Thatโs honestly better than I expected considering the lock get numerous daily use. Reliable power, no random low-battery surprises, and performance stayed consistent the whole time. These are so worth it! For devices where convenience and reliability matter, these are faultless. ๐ฏ% recommend and would buy again!

Long shelf life isnโt true
I use these in wireless thermometers in freezers. Within the advertised temperatures, around 0-10F nowhere near the limits. Worked great out of the box they used to last for 3-4 months at least, however remainder of my batteries are now dying in matter of days after one year of buying, 10 year shelf life is definitely not true. Update: Customer support reached out after my initial review to make it right, updating my rating based on my last interaction.

A Good Product at a Good Price
I am burning through AAA batteries on my TV like crazy (apparently 4326 clicks a day is a little much!) so I looked around for something that would last. I heard about POWEROWL from Project Farm on Youtube. This guy tests everything on his own with no sponsors and he gave POWEROWL a good recommendation. So far I am impressed - they have kept their charge WAY longer than other brands and, as a side note, they come in a really cute compact box instead of all that nuisance plastic. They should be more widely known - a good product at a good price!

Short life, unexpectedly fail without warning.
These batteries work okay for awhile, but the seem to fail more quickly (and suddenly) than some other name brand Lithium batteries. I will NOT be buying any more of these.

Great product
I have purchased several POWEROWL Products and they have all been above my expectations and these are no different. Very pleased with their performance.

MUST READ! Defective batteries! Not all off brand batteries are equal!
Not all off brand batteries are equal! I discovered that Power Owl AA lithium batteries I purchased in February 2025 contained a tricky defect that cost me to throw away 2 flashlights and one electric toothbrush for no reason. The shelf life of single-use AA lithium batteries is typically around 10 to 12 years or more. (cool & dry storage) First was a flashlight that was dead, so logically I replaced the batteries. After it did not light up I assumed that the LED died and tossed the flashlight altogether. Then one morning earlier this year my electric toothbrush stopped running. So logically I replaced the two AA batteries. Since it wouldn't start with new batteries, I assumed the 2 year old toothbrush had died and bought a new one. After I put in a new set of Power Owl AA lithium batteries the new toothbrush it still would not start. So I measured the batteries and lo and behold they were absolute 0 Volts! It dawned on me that likely the same thing happened with the devices I tossed out. That they were okay but it was the Power Owl batteries that had a defect! I measured the remaining 4 Power Owl batteries I had and two of them had barely 100 mV! The other 2 showed a full capacity of around 1.68-1.7 volts nominal. In other words from the 6 remaining batteries two have absolute 0 V, two have about 100mV and only 2 have the nominal voltage. So I inserted those 2 but the electric toothbrush only started briefly and stopped again. Somewhere I had some about 3-year-old but still OEM packaged zinc carbon AA batteries. I installed them in toothbrush and it worked! So this must be another Power Owl battery issue. I measured the Power Owl batteries but they showed ~ 1.7 V nominal! So I arranged to see what happened with the voltage when measuring it when I turn on the brush. The battery voltage collapsed to zero! Do know that: Any 1.5 Volt lithium batteries typically have a nominal voltage of ~3.6โ3.7 volts, but they include a built-in step-down converter that reduces the output voltage to ~1.5 volts, allowing them to be used in devices designed for standard AA batteries. So this whole discovery cost me more than just the batteries that turned out defective but also I had to repurchase what I had mistakenly thrown out assuming it was defective! So now I will start a request with Amazon as I want at least the purchase cost of these batteries refunded! Better yet a courtesy refund for repurchase what I had mistakenly thrown out assuming it was defective!

No concern with battery acid leakage
I purchased these "expensive" AAA size batteries to replace standard alkaline AAA size batteries I use on low discharge rate devices. Lower cost alkaline batteries work well for devices that you end up replacing the batteries as often as every 2 to 3 years like TV remote controls that are used fairly often. However, for devices that sit unused for extended periods like months or even years at a time, the concern with alkaline batteries is that they have the potential of leaking acid and possibly damaging the battery terminals or the device's printed computerized board (PCB) itself. Lithium batteries in general do NOT leak acid, so Lithium batteries generally do away with the battery acid leakage concern entirely. "Disposable" Lithium batteries in general have a slower self-discharge rate compared to "rechargeable" batteries, so there is still a market for disposable batteries, at least for now. ๐ POWEROWL enjoys a very positive reputation for both performance and longevity. My experience with all my disposable POWEROWL 9V/AA/AAA size batteries has been very positive so far.

No More Leaks
I switched to Lithium AAA's in devices I don't want damaged with the usual alkaline leak. These run the devices longer and I don't have to worry about the batteries toasting my battery terminals. WIN!

Great Alkaline Replacement
These come highly rated from several sources so I expect good things. 10 years of storage with no leaks (supposedly) and the first thing I noticed is how much lighter these are than alkaline batteries.

Did not last in sub-zero temperature.
I watched Project farm video about lithium batteries and one of the criteria for buying these was their alleged low temperature performance. I've put them into the temperature sensor in my freezer, at around -4ยฐ, but they lasted only a few weeks under those conditions. The sensor reports 100% charge and then they abruptly discharge over a course of a few days.

I was educated
I watched a YouTube video of a fella testing all brand name batteries. This POWEROWL was the champ in nearly all categories, beating out the biggest brand names, and POWEROWL are the best price as well! I donโt typically leave battery reviews, but I think these will be my future purchases for Lithium, and Rechargeable's. (For reference, I have 40 years in the tech industry, with a nearly 30 in computer sciences, and own a smart home with 117 connected devices). Only POWEROWL from here on out!

Shouldn't leak like rest.
Got sick of the best regular battery's including Amazon basics one the lasted a long time but always ended up leaking and messing up stuff. Had Duracell aaa leak and fuse inside a black light flash light. Love these so far but 3 times the price..

Great for outdoor use
Good set of batteries for my outdoor thermometer. They withstand cold Canadian winter temperatures.
