CHECK SIZE
BEWARE! I needed a female 1" thread to temporarily blank of the pipes to a radiator whilst I took it off to decorate behind. I ordered the 1" only to find that what came was 1and1/4". I re-ordered the 3/4" to find that these are a perfect fit for 1". I had a similar issue recently with some 'hose lock' items bought from screwfix. I have no idea where they get the measurement from but it seems you have to order the size down from what you actually need. When you get the correct size, these are perfect for the job.

Nicely made in brass. 2 sizes available.
I wanted to add an extra sealing blanking end to washing machine connector points and outside taps with a threaded end for hoses. For this you need the BIGGER 3/4" size. The washers inside work OK to seal BUT tend to drop out and could be a fraction bigger or else you can stick them in. Nice price for a multiple brass pack with 6 in. Will seal well even just hand tight.
