Great little travel kettle
Works great for traveling. I bought this while traveling with a throat infection during the winter, and the constant availability of hot tea in my room at cheap hotels was amazing. It's definitely slower than a normal household kettle, but that's a necessary consequence of the lower wattage that allows it to run properly off of any dodgy outlet you plug it into at a hotel. The size is great for 1-2 people, and you can partially offset the luggage space by stuffing the power cable and some other smaller items in it.I was worried it would collect water and need careful drying/cleaning to prevent mold growth while packed away, but if you rest the lid on the handle and leave the kettle open for a bit, all the remaining hot water evaporates readily. The auto shut off worked well for me, though I'm a little suspicious that they may be using the temperature sensor that powers the display to shut it off at 212F / 100C, which wouldn't work properly at elevation. I haven't confirmed this though. It would still be safe in terms of shutting off after boiling off all the water, though.Even when filled to the max fill line, I had no trouble with boiling water splashing around as long as I gave it a few seconds before carefully removing the lid.The interior is all properly stainless steel, so there's no weird smells or flavors.

Easy to Use & Temperature Accurate
This is a great option to get good consistent water temperature. Have tested temperature with instant read thermometer and it is accurate. I use this versus microwave or tea kettle, I like the small footprint and perfect size for a cup of tea. Have had for several months and it continues to work well, would recommend.

Works well, nice form factor, but temperature inaccurate
This little travel kettle will heat your water. While it's not as fast as a full sized kettle, it doesn't take an unreasonable amount of time. The form factor makes it easy to pack into your bag. It gives a nice beep when it reaches the set temperature.I got this because it has a variable temperature setting, but if you don't set this to boiling I found that the temperature is not accurate (I measured using an instant read thermometer). It seems to be around 15 degrees cooler than the set temperature if you have it filled up to the maximum fill line, or 10 degrees cooler than the set temperature if it's filled at the minimum fill line. Leaving it for a little longer will get it closer to the set temperature on the kettle. Armed with this knowledge, I can achieve the water temperature that I want for green tea.One other thing to note is to be careful about securing the lid properly if you're boiling the water and filling this to the max. If it's not screwed on properly, you will get water sputtering out the sides. Also be careful to follow the instructions and wait a little bit after boiling for the steam pressure to come down before opening the lid.

Great for cup o noodles also!
Bought this on a whim since hotels have gone away from providing coffee machines(most). Did not use it for coffee but for cup o noodles. Directions are simple, keep pressing power button to desired temp and wait. There might be faster units but I was able to hold the outside and pour into the container. It comes with the power plug and a handy carry bag. Will bring on future road trips and hopefully it lasts.

Great product for travel
Great product for travel. My mom drinks hot tea every day, so I purchased this item to use during our vacation, it worked wonderfully.

Great new travel essential
After reading many warnings that hotel water kettles are rarely if ever cleaned and people have been known to try to clean their dirty underwear in them 🥵I decided to search for a safer hot water option. There have also been many very early flights for which I get to the airport and no stores are open yet for my essential coffee. Now enter this travel electric kettle! It is adorable - I really like the chic design with the rose gold stripe, and it’s small enough to fit easily in a backpack or carryon without taking more space than a shoe. The most important thing is that it works really well. The power at the airport is a little weak so it took a bit longer to get to the right hot temperature (there are multiple high temps you can choose from) but it was still only minutes. Then I used my Costa Rican pour over portable coffee maker to make a delicious cup of coffee at 4:50 am at my gate. I made the whole area smell amazing! :) yes I was sitting on the floor with a couple baggies of things like the tiny bags of coffee and disposable cups from previous hotel trips, but everyone was eventually jealous.I didn’t realize you’re not supposed to drink from the kettle itself, so it’s NOT a hot water bottle or something you can use to make a cup of tea without having another cup to pour into (at least they don’t recommend using it for anything other than plain water). But it is fast, efficient, adorable, and just the right size for a very large cup of coffee or maybe two cups of tea. It cools down quickly too so you can touch it after waiting the recommended minute and not get scalded, yet the inside water is beautifully hot. Then you just detach the cute little cord, wrap it up and put it back in the little baggie or straight in the bag and you’re on your way.The only thing I wasn’t thrilled about is the verbiage on the top of the lid - I thought it would be a sticker you can take off but the words of warning about “hot liquid and don’t touch yet, steam blah blah” are there forever, kind of taking away from the aesthetics. And I guess I was thinking I could put a tea bag in it once the water was hot, but you so kind of need another cup to make it work. Unless they just meant that you shouldn’t boil or use it to heat up any liquids other than water? I just don’t want to risk ruining it so for now I just use it as a kettle and pour out the water when done. Let me know if you figure out differently!Overall highly recommend for frequent travelers or those with limited counter space.
